I bring a calm and nurturing presence to every family I work with, blending my knowledge of physiological birth with tools for emotional and physical support. I’m also an herbalist and love incorporating nature’s remedies into my care, whether it’s for postpartum recovery or soothing moments during birth. Over the years, I’ve worked with countless clients, helping them feel empowered and informed every step of the way. My goal is to create a space where you feel confident, cared for, and deeply supported as you welcome your baby into the world. Two prenatal visits to create your birth plan, discuss labor preferences, and practice comfort techniques. Continuous support during labor and birth (starting at active labor) until baby arrives. Immediate postpartum support (1-2 hours after birth) to assist with newborn feeding and bonding. One postpartum follow-up visit to reflect on your birth, answer questions, and provide additional newborn or breastfeeding support. Unlimited phone, text, and email support during pregnancy and for two weeks postpartum.

Labor + Birth Doula Services As your labor and birth doula, I provide continuous support during pregnancy, labor, and birth, helping you feel empowered and confident in your body’s natural abilities. My approach emphasizes physiological birth while honoring your preferences and choices, whether you’re planning a non-medicated or medically supported birth. I’ll work with you to create a birth plan, provide evidence-based resources, and offer physical and emotional support during labor with comfort measures such as massage, breathwork, and positioning techniques. My goal is to ensure you feel calm, cared for, and deeply supported throughout this transformative experience. Postpartum Doula Services The postpartum period is a sacred time of healing, bonding, and adjustment. As your postpartum doula, I provide practical and emotional support to help you ease into life with your new baby. From guidance with newborn care and breastfeeding to preparing nourishing meals and creating restful routines, I’m here to nurture your entire family. My care also includes herbal remedies and nervous system support to help you feel grounded, rested, and restored. Together, we’ll honor this season as a time of profound transformation and growth. Ceremonial Offerings In addition to traditional doula services, I offer ceremonial practices that honor the profound transition into parenthood. These include postpartum closing of the bones ceremonies, herbal rituals for healing, and personalized moments to celebrate and mark this sacred journey. These offerings provide an opportunity to honor your body, mind, and spirit as you embrace the beauty of this new chapter.

Alyssa was seriously the best postpartum doula! I was really unwell post baby and she showed up the day after we got home truly like an angel with her little basket of goodies! What I loved most was how she just navigated my house and got to work! She made my sitz bath, made tea, ran the bottle washer, folded laundry etc. She just knew what to do and how to help in the times I didn’t have brain power to ask for what I needed help with. She made me soup, made the bed, etc. She was great with my baby - she would hold him when I wanted to get some housework done, trimmed his nails, gave him bottles, changed diapers, gave baths etc. She was also a wealth of knowledge that was super helpful as a first time mom! I could go on and on - she was fantastic and I’m so happy I had her as apart of my first postpartum journey!

Never did I ever think I would have a doula in my birth. And I dont regret that decision at all. I went fully unmedicated for my 2nd pregnancy and it was the best decision I’ve done. Alyssa was there from beginning to end to support me and listen to me at all moments of the day. She is great as what she does and even if you aren’t planning on going unmedicated hiring her as your doula would be the best decision for an amazing birth experience.

Alyssa was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly supportive and such a comforting presence throughout my entire labor and delivery. From the very beginning, she brought a calm energy that helped both me and my husband feel cared for every step of the way. My labor and delivery ended up being a best-case scenario. I was induced and didn’t go into labor naturally, which brought some uncertainty and anxiety for me since I didn’t want a traumatic induction like I had with my first. Alyssa was there offering reassurance, explaining options, and helping us navigate decisions as they came up. She made me feel seen, informed, and empowered in moments that could have easily felt overwhelming. She worked seamlessly with the hospital staff while still prioritizing my comfort and preferences, which meant a lot. We also opted to pay extra for Alyssa to prepare food for me postpartum, and it was absolutely worth it. Her meals were nourishing and delicious, and they played such a big part in helping me heal and truly enjoy this postpartum experience. With my first, I was stressed and exhausted, but this time I felt calm, supported, and able to focus on bonding with my baby—the experience I had always dreamed of. Alyssa’s guidance, compassion, and care made all the difference. I can’t recommend her enough to anyone looking for a doula who truly goes above and beyond and genuinely cares for mom and baby’s wellbeing.
