I’m Emily Carlson: a wife, a mom of four, a nurse, a doula, a photographer, and someone who knows just how powerful it is to feel supported through birth and beyond. I became a doula because I believe every woman deserves to feel seen, heard, and held during one of life’s most sacred transitions. Birth isn’t just about bringing a baby into the world, it’s about stepping into a new version of yourself, and no one should have to do that alone. My background as a nurse shaped my understanding of the physical side of birth, but it was my own experiences that stirred something deeper, a calling to offer the kind of emotional, informational, and hands-on support that makes all the difference. I’m here to walk alongside you with calm confidence, fierce encouragement, and a deep respect for your story. And when I’m not supporting births, I’m often behind the camera, documenting the real, raw, and beautiful moments that come after, because every part of the journey matters.

Birth & Postpartum Doula packages and pricing

Standard Birth Doula Package

My birth doula package includes two prenatal visits to prepare for labor and postpartum, 24/7 on-call support from 38–42 weeks, and continuous in-person support throughout your birth. You’ll also receive phone, text, and email support during pregnancy, plus educational resources on comfort measures, labor, and postpartum care. One follow-up visit in the early postpartum period is also included. Packages start at $1,000 plus tax.

Postpartum Doula Care

Choose from flexible postpartum doula packages designed to meet your unique needs. Options range from 20 to 60 hours of daytime support, including light housework, baby care, sibling support, and more. Looking for overnight help? The “Well Rested” package offers 32 hours of overnight care so you can catch up on sleep while your baby is lovingly supported. Packages start at $700.

My doula support is centered on helping you feel informed, empowered, and cared for through every stage of birth and postpartum. From prenatal visits and 24/7 on-call support to continuous labor care and one postpartum check-in, I’m here to guide and support you through it all. After birth, I offer flexible postpartum care tailored to your needs from light housework and sibling help to baby care education and emotional support. You’re not alone I’m part of your village.
