About me

Hi there, My name is English Parker, I am 27 years old and currently live in Raleigh. I am a compassionate and inclusive certified Newborn Care Specialist, Postpartum Doula and Birth Doula! I obtained my certifications through the Newborn Care Training Academy in 2022 and have re-certified with ProDoula in 2024. I am honored to hold my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I have 5+ years experience working with infants, both with and without disabilities. I am very passionate about newborn and infant development, postpartum care, and supporting and educating new families! As a Doula, my goal is to facilitate an inclusive, nurturing and a supportive, trauma-informed environment for families where they can make informed decisions and feel empowered throughout their journey into parenthood. My goal is always to make your life easier and to support you through this journey into parenthood.

Service introduction

I mainly offer support for the newborn(s) and birthing parent! For the newborn this includes help putting baby to sleep, feeding baby, prepping bottles, sanitizing bottles and pump parts, soothing techniques, help with creating/managing sleep schedules, diaper changes, baby wearing, etc. For the birthing parent this includes, help doing the laundry (both family and baby), helping with newborn care so the birthing parent can bond with older siblings, providing resources and referrals if needed, educating parent(s) on breastfeeding support, soothing techniques, proper storage and management of breastmilk, and more!
