Hi there, I am enquiring about my options, seeing what is available to make my first birth smooth. I plan to give birth at the hospital, looking into a c-section delivery. Live in a condo at bear mountain with my partner.

This will be my second birth. My first one was 34 hours of labour then failure to progress at 7cm and resulted in a c-section. I would like to try for a VBAC this time and would like support with that. Victoria general hospital. I don’t know what a doula costs so unsure on budget

An experienced individual (5+ years) willing to entertain three small children, start and fold laundry, prep breakfast and lunch, clean/tidy around the house as needed (vacuum, wipe counters, clean bathrooms/toilets, etc.), and hold the baby so I can rest.

I plan to give birth in a hospital, but I do not have a specific provider yet as we were given orders to move to Whidbey last week. I will be 34-36 weeks pregnant when we arrive. I would like to try to have a VBAC with as little intervention as possible. I have Tricare insurance.

I don’t have a birth plan yet and haven’t decided where I would like to give birth. I’d love someone who can educate me on my options, answer my questions, help me understand what to expect, and support me in making informed decisions as my pregnancy progresses. It’s also really important to me that I find someone I feel genuinely comfortable with and can trust—someone warm, supportive, and easy to talk to. I’m open to discussing budget based on experience and the services offered.
