Breastfeeding Before Baby: What to Know Before Day One
-
$25.00 USD
About the class
Breastfeeding may be natural, but that doesn’t mean you’re expected to just know how to do it! Join Antoinette, IBCLC and founder of Breastfeeding Reborn, for a relaxed prenatal breastfeeding class designed to help you and your partner feel more prepared for your baby’s first days. We’ll talk about what breastfeeding really looks like in the first 24–72 hours, how to recognize a good latch, feeding cues, how often newborns actually eat, colostrum and milk supply, common early challenges, and when it’s time to reach out for additional support. You’ll leave with practical information, realistic expectations, and a better idea of what to do when your baby is finally in your arms. Partners and support people are encouraged to join!

About the provider
Antoinette Cornelius
Hi! I’m Antoinette, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and the founder of Breastfeeding Reborn. I provide personalized, in-home lactation support to families throughout Tucson, Vail, and surrounding Southern Arizona communities. I believe feeding support should feel practical, compassionate, and tailored to your family: not like another set of rules you have to follow. Whether you’re preparing to breastfeed, navigating painful or difficult feeds, worried about milk supply or weight gain, pumping, returning to work, or simply wondering if what you’re experiencing is “normal,” I’m here to help you understand what’s happening and create a plan that actually works for you and your baby. As a mom myself, I also understand how overwhelming feeding can feel when you’re exhausted, getting conflicting advice, and just trying to figure out what’s best for your family. My goal is for you to leave our time together feeling heard, supported, and much more confident in your next steps. I’d love to be part of your feeding journey!
