Plan to give birth in hospital with a midwife Not sure budget Natural birth
Hello, I will be arriving in the Toronto area at 34 weeks of pregnancy. My due date is August 14. I am hoping to give birth at Southlake Regional Health Centre and I am looking for midwifery care as soon as possible. I have OHIP and looking to find a midwife to provide care.
i plan to givebirth in the hospital but i just need guidance, direction and care as a first time mom
I would like to have labour at home but currently don’t have a midwife. So as of right now I will be having the baby in a hospital. I am looking to have an unmedicated birth but this will be my first time. I need guidance and reassurance. I’m looking for either a doula or midwife, who if possible is able to speak both English and Spanish but is not a requirement. I’m 29 , currently 21 weeks. I have two health concerns such as hypothyroidism (currently medicated) and a high chance of getting preeclampsia (currently on medication for prevention). This is my second pregnancy and my first pregnancy and labour (natural / medicated) went fairly smooth with no complications. My budget for a doula: $2000
I plan to give birth at Southlake hospital in Newmarket
I need a midwife for a home birth in East Gwillimbury. Due date is August 27, 2026.
- Delivery at Southlake Hospital - I don’t know budget. Maybe around $1000? - Birth plan: Vaginal delivery - trying to not use epidural but don’t mind if I do. - requirement for provider: someone experienced - Duties: Someone I can message anytime if any questions arise. Someone to walk me through the process. Stay with me during active labour to postpartum as well. Will need help with childcare and lactation as well.
Vbac Hospital and home Try for unmedicated Not sure on budget
Hospital birth, budget around 25$ per hour. The better the rate, the more hours I will take. Natural birth in the hospital No additional duties just care for the baby
I would like to give birth in a birth centre. I do not have OHIP, so we will be paying out of pocket. We do not have an estimated budget yet. My birth plan is as natural as possible with my husband and mother there.
I plan to give birth in a hospital since I couldn’t get a Midwife but desire a low intervention, natural birth experience. My priority is feeling safe, respected, and supported with minimal exams and clear consent for any procedures. Budget is moderate and flexible for the right supportive match. I want a doula who can advocate for my preferences, help maintain a calm environment, support natural pain-coping techniques, and involve my husband as an active support person.
I would like to give birth at hospital or birth center.
I will be 28 at the time of birth.. I would like to give birth at home but cannot find a midwife so may have to resort to a hospital and I’d like to have a water birth. I am open to discussing budget. I hope to have my husband and mum with me at the time of birth. I require someone calm, with a wealth of knowledge and experience in supporting women through a trauma informed lens. Also - nutrition is important to me so someone who understands healthy nutrition and holistic care. English spoken well is necessary, French is optional but would be nice. I hope to have night care at least 2-3 times a week as my husband will be travelling for work over a couple months postpartum. I hope to sleep train and get some help with laundry/basic chores for baby. Open to discuss hourly rates or packages.
