I am a first time mom who wants a hospital birth. I mostly want an advocate who can help me understand and walk me through what happens because I’m still learning and I don’t no exactly what I want yet and I would love to do love that can help walk me through the options for my birth plan and help me build it. All I know is I want to avoid a C-section at all costs.
Currently, I am set up to have my birth in a hospital however, my last child that I had was a forced emergency C-section from which I have PTSD from. Currently, I'm terrified to deliver this baby and I really need some assistance to advocate for me to help me have a vaginal birth versus another C-section. I don't want any tearing. I just wanna be happy while giving birth.
I need someone to be my voice at doctors appointments( for baby), and at the child birth making sure everything goes smoothly so my mom and partner doesn't have to worry about the medical team and me. I need someone to help make a birth plan and explain everything to me and my partner like what specific tests are and what every step is sobi can make a plan and know what to expect.
We are interested in doula labor and delivery services for my sister who is due on November 15. It is likely as well that the baby may come sooner since this is her 4th. For the birth- we would hope someone could be there during the full labor, and some hours after that so that my sister can rest incase there are medical issues, etc
