Amanda of Avocado Doula, completed DONA International doula training and is soon to be ICEA birth doula certified. Amanda is working to provide birth and postpartum doula services to the Fargo-Moorhead area. Amanda is the first Evidence Based Birth® Instructor in the state of North Dakota. She is also a certified Body Ready Method Pro, and has done continuing education with Spinning Babies workshops and other courses. Amanda is dedicated to educating, empowering, and supporting birthing people and their partners before, during, and after the birth of their baby.

Hello! I’m Amber Hage, a birth and postpartum doula, birth photographer, placenta encapsulator, and pediatric sleep consultant based in Fargo, North Dakota. I’m also the founder of Fargo Birth, where I work alongside an amazing team (including my sister!) to support families during one of the most powerful seasons of life. I’m passionate about creating a calm, confident, and personalized birth and postpartum experience—whether through hands-on support, beautiful birth images, or helping tired parents get some much-needed sleep. With a background in business, education, and entrepreneurship, I love merging heart and strategy to serve families well. When I’m not supporting clients, I’m running a lawn care company with my husband or helping my son with his magnet business, Stick with Parker. In my free time, you’ll find me learning something new, watching reality tv, or laughing with my kids.

I have always enjoyed helping others. I started my training in the medical field at the young age of 17 when I became a Certified Nurse Assistant. I continued my studies and became a Certified Medical Assistant, Although pregnancy was not easy for my body I thoroughly enjoyed being pregnant. With each pregnancy I was taught natural ways to cope and how to give my body what it needed. This gave me the desire to help other women, that desire continued to grow through each of my 5 pregnancies/ births to the point that I delivered my last baby unassisted and was able to catch her myself. I began my formal training with DONA in 2022 and became a certified birth doula in 2023. I have since worked with 4 midwives. in doing so I have gained great hands on experience and knowledge. I have been blessed to help many women through their own birth experiences. I look forward to continuing to serve and empower women for years to come. I want to continue the tradition of empowering and enriching women’s pregnancies and births, like my midwives did for me. Being a doula I get to do just that

I attended my first birth at 11 years old when my youngest brother was born. Since then I have been drawn to birth work. I live in Pillager and maintain a small hobby farm with a garden, chickens dogs and cats where I spend my time connecting with nature and baking sourdough bread. I value abundance, spirituality and meaningful connections. I attended my first doula training and workshop in 2022, solidifying my desire to help ease the transition into parenthood, whether through prenatal preparation, birth work or postpartum care. I will help you advocate for your labor and delivery, regardless of your birth plan.

Hi I’m Jackie and as a doula I would love to help you reform your idea of birth with me! I provide mainly birth doula services but also postpartum and sibling doula services. I have always worked in childcare in some aspect and love to help parents in any way I can! I became a birth doula in 2021 when I trained with DONA. I completed a Manhattan Birth doula mentorship program and am also a certified VBAC Pro through the VBAC Academy! My passion though is preventing primary c-sections and physiological birth, but I support any and all births!

I’m a wife, mother of three, and proud grandmother of two. I work as a Community Education Coordinator and also volunteer as an EMT with the Remer, MN ambulance service. I've always had a love for pregnancy and birth. Becoming a Doula has been a long-time dream of mine, and I’m thrilled to share that I’ve recently completed my Doula training. I'm passionate about supporting women through labor and delivery. My goal is to make a positive difference in each birth experience by offering calmness, compassion, care, and words of encouragement. I believe every birthing person deserves to feel supported, empowered, and heard—and I’m honored to be part of that journey. As part of completing my certification, I am currently seeking the opportunity to attend three births as a Doula. Hey! I’m Saralicia Waugh, a certified birth & postpartum doula practicing in Central MN. I started out as a birth photographer in 2017 and my passion for helping families discover what birthing options are available to them so that they can make informed decisions and have an empowering birth experience led to me diving into doula support in early 2024. I then got certified as a birth and postpartum doula in March of 2025. Although I am focusing on doula support at the moment and not currently offering birth photography sessions, I am happy to use your phone to take pictures and videos of you during labor/birth so you can preserve these precious memories. I believe families should have the power to take back control over their birth experience and tune into their innate instincts so they can play an active role in their care for a family-centered, positive outcome. Hello! I'm Candi and I'm a birth doula, pre & perinatal massage therapist and bodyworker, childbirth educator, and movement specialist. I originally became a birth doula because my 3 births were incredibly traumatic and I never wanted another mom to feel alone and scared like I felt during those experiences. But having attended births since 2004, I have come to realize that birth is very different than what I originally thought. I've witnessed some of the most amazing births with the most empowered and inspiring moms. I've come to learn that birth happens best when a mom feels supported and seen, when she trusts her body and the process of birth. And I've seen how a birth affects families going into parenting - traumatized moms don't trust their instincts and look for parenting answers outside of themselves. Whereas moms who felt empowered throughout her birthing goes into parenting as a mamma polar bear - trusting in her instincts and protecting her littles ferociously. It is my heart's work to help mammas, and families, find their strength and empowerment, believe in themselves and their bodies capability to bring baby into the world, and to walk the journey with them, every step of the way.

I'm passionate about empowering mothers through the journey of pregnancy, birth and the fourth trimester. After giving birth to our first child, I decided to start my birth work journey as a birth and postpartum doula. My goal is to provide unwavering support, guiding moms to feel calm and empowered on their unique journey to motherhood. I have extensive training as a certified Body Ready Method pro, as a placenta Encapsulation specialist, and am working to complete my Certified Lactation Counselor Training with the Healthy Children's Project.
