About me

Hi! I'm Amber Hage, and I'm so glad you're here. I'm a birth and postpartum doula, birth and family photographer, placenta encapsulation specialist, and pediatric sleep consultant based in Fargo, North Dakota. As the founder of Fargo Birth, I have the privilege of leading an incredible team—including my sister—as we walk alongside families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond. My goal is simple: to help you feel informed, supported, and confident every step of the way. Whether I'm providing hands-on support during labor, preserving your birth story through photography, preparing your placenta, or helping your family find more restful nights, I want you to know you don't have to navigate this journey alone. I believe every family deserves compassionate, personalized care that honors their unique goals and values. No two births—or families—are the same, which is why I take the time to truly get to know you and provide support tailored to your needs. Before founding Fargo Birth, I earned degrees in Business Management & Marketing and Masters in Educational Leadership. Those experiences have helped me build a team and organization focused on excellence, education, and exceptional client care, while never losing sight of what matters most—the families we serve. When I'm not supporting clients, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband and our three boys, cheering them on at the hockey rink, watching reality TV, or helping my kids grow their own entrepreneurial adventures. It would be an honor to be part of your story and support your family through this incredible season of life.
