I have been searching for a midwife or Doula that will accept insurance. I would prefer a birthing center but I have not found one that would be an option, I am perfectly happy being in a hospital with a midwife or doula with me. I'm currently with GPS but trying to find a place to switch to where I can have a midwife or doula. I would prefer a water birth but in the hospital I'm not sure that's doable my plan is for an unmedicated birth. My pregnancy has been uncomplicated and low risk

Hospital because it’s my first baby, but I want it all natural, I don’t want nurses disturbing me all the time I want to let my body do what it needs. I want to have a vaginal birth but I have a uterine abnormality that makes me higher risk for a breech baby so a C section may be necessary. Because of my uterus didelphys (double uterus) I am considered high risk.

Hello! My name is Cate Jackson. I am currently 32 weeks with my first baby, it’s a girl, and I am so excited to be a mom. I am feeling both nervous and excited about giving birth. It is 100% my goal to have a natural birth. I am looking for the support of an understanding Doula that can help me feel more confident about going the natural route in a safe setting, whether that’s a hospital or at home, and if at a hospital can help me advocate for myself about the interventions hospital staff are trained to provide for births. I am trying my best to work on techniques like breathing and learning different positions to make natural birth manageable for my first time. My fear is the unknown of what to expect even though I’ve watched so many videos and listened to so many podcasts, I think every body is different. I want my birth experience to be as low intervention as possible, however having someone besides my partner to guide me through the intensity of it all would be a life saver. It would be my dream to be at a birthing center but i have not had any luck finding one that we would be able to afford, or insurance would cover. This is my third pregnancy, and I would like to have it at home without feeling rushed during labor without having the umbilical cord, cut off too fast being able to enjoy it my baby boy after birth And I am really considering turning the placenta into pills I do have insurance I don’t have an idea of a budget because I’m not sure what a midwife would cost for the service so I would like to talk more about that and about a birth plan as well.
