Valentina Birth, Etc. keeps an active schedule as a Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, and Newborn Care Specialist all while balancing motherhood, and academics, and coaching cheer. My passion and purpose is to prepare and support flourishing families by pouring into them in ways a tribe should. First, as a sister and a friend, then as a mother myself, I have seen the medical system sew fear and doubt into women regarding their body's capability to achieve what it was intended to. The truth is, childbirth is both natural and miraculous. I believe that every woman has the right to decide what interventions she wants to use in childbirth without the use of fear, but instead through true informed consent. I continue learning daily how best to help each new mama, both through lived experiences and through research, and will gladly share my knowledge. I also believe that every woman should be supported through the most vulnerable and powerful moment of her life. In a system that pushes women away from their natural state, I am here to be that calming support and fierce advocate.

Ijeoma is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who is one of few in the metro Dallas - Fort Worth area that is an American Board of Physical Therapy Certified Specialist in Women/ Men Pelvic Health (WCS), Certified Lymphedema Physical Therapist (CLT), trained Sexuality Counselor/ Coach and is a Certified Dry Needling Therapist (CIDN). She is the owner of the Center of Pelvic Excellence Physical Therapy & Wellness LLC. (COPE PT), where she provides inclusive compassionate care, knowledge and education on childbirth prep, pelvic health, sexual health, oncology and lymphedema to aid in individual optimal recovery.

I believe that birth is YOUR story and should be done your way. I try my best to support my clients wishes during births and follow directions for post Partum care as well. I think it’s important not to push clients to do things but allow them to choose their own paths. I love what I do and love educating my clients so that they’re able to make the best decisions for themselves and feel well informed when doing so… I also have a team and We are a team/partnership of three doulas who are qualified as moms certified doulas to cover all things birth, postpartum and beyond!
