As a native of Dallas, my life's journey has been a blend of enriching experiences and fulfilling adventures, all of which have guided me to my true calling—supporting new families during the prenatal & postpartum period. Right after college, I embarked on a transformative adventure to Thailand. Living and teaching in this beautiful country was an eye-opening experience that profoundly shaped my worldview. During this time, she has collaborated with other therapists, healthcare providers and treatment facilities to understand the needs within the community. My first experience with birth was when my mom delivered my brother under the supervision of a traditional midwife over 24 years ago. I have since had 6 children of my own, and those labors and deliveries fueled my passion for supporting moms. I have personal experience with twins and NICU. I have always wanted to be in birthwork, since I had my first child at 18, but never knew where I would fit in. A few years ago I learned what a doula was and knew that that was where I belong.
