Hello! I have tricare select and I am looking for a doula within network. I plan to give birth at Hoag in Irvina, CA but I live in Seal Beach, CA. I do live on base, so base access would be great but isn't necessary.

I am a first time mom looking for birth doula and birthing education! We are an LGBTQ family and need someone willing to support/work with us. We want to do hospital birth because I have a low lying placenta but I struggle with not knowing what questions to ask/how to advocate.

Planning an unmedicated hospital birth at Hoag Hospital Irvine for my first pregnancy. Already have my birth plan figured out and mainly looking for support and advocacy during labor for me and my partner and to learn any helpful information for first time motherhood. Also looking for support and knowledge in breastfeeding where I can improve! Looking for a doula that accepts Tricare Select. I plan on needing doula support during the whole labor and my insurance covers a total of 6 hours of doula support before and/or after birth.

My wife and I are currently looking for a birth doula Our estimated due date is March 28, 2027, and we are planning to deliver at Hoag Hospital. We have Anthem Blue Cross insurance through LAUSD, and we are currently trying to confirm our doula benefits and which providers may be covered in-network. We also found that National Doula Network appears in-network under our Anthem plan. Could you please let us know whether you currently accept or bill Anthem Blue Cross, whether you work through National Doula Network or another insurance network, and whether your services for prenatal support, labor/birth support at Hoag, and postpartum care may be covered through insurance? First baby - hoping for low interventions and unmedicated. Not sure if I am ready to commit to unmedicated though. Either way, I'd like to stay unmedicated as long as possible/as long as is safe. I know very little about labor/birth and have been afraid of it for a while. I'd like someone who is well versed in physical support, and of course mental/emotional support and birth education. I have somewhat of a distrust of doctors and want someone who knows the data on when things are necessary, and when things are not necessary. My husband is pretty squeamish and he may need some mental support too. I am a patient of the midwives at Orange Coast Womens Medical Group and I plan to give birth at HOAG Irvine. I am looking for a birth doula, a lactation consultant, and possibly a postpartum doula. I live in Fullerton, CA - looking for in person services.
