Hi, I plan to give birth Katz Womens Hospital LIJ in New Hyde Park. My budget is 2,000. My husband and I currently live in Maine but are moving to Long Beach in April. we have a lot of things up in the air right now and switching OBs half way through pregnancy has me a little anxious. I dont think I will be able to build the relationship I would like with my OB / OB office in NY as much as I would like. So I would like to work with a doula before during and after birth to have some support and a familiar face during this process. This is my first pregnancy. I am currently doing a hypnobirthing course. I dont not have a full outline birth plan yet.
first time mom. need all the help i can get. I would like a stress free birth with calm surroundings. I am giving birth at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Doulas eligible to provide services for any state Medicaid program in the United States or certified by any organization recognized as providing acceptable training by any state Medicaid program will be considered a certified doula and eligible for reimbursement for services from the Plan. Training organizations include, but are not limited to: Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA) https://cappa.net/ Childbirth International Commonsense Childbirth Institute Doulas of North America (DONA) https://www.dona.org/ Doula Trainings International (DTI) https://wearedti.com/ International Childbirth Education Association https://icea.org/
I'm hoping to give birth at home in a relaxed setting, likely with only my husband present. I am looking for a midwife (ideally CNM) for my pregnancy as well as the delivery of my baby. I also would love to have a post party doula who will handle meals, laundry, assist with night feeds and changes etc.

I would like to match with a doula that will help me prepare for birth, create a birth plan, and provide in-person support when the contractions start. Additionally, I would like a doula that will guide me and help me through breastfeeding and the first weeks of the baby. I plan to give birth at Mount Sinai West. I do not have a budget since I do not know how much this services cost, but I am open to check the offers. I do not have a birth plan yet and I would like to discuss that with the doula.
Hi - I spoke with my insurance Cigna and they confirmed I have 60 days per calendar year with 16 hours per day during this time for a postpartum home health care for me and my newborn. No prior authorization is required. They didn't call it a doula but they called it a PP home health care. They couldn't give me a list of eligible providers, I kept getting either a list of home health care providers (which included nursing homes or Lenox Hill Radiology) or OBGYNs. I would like to connect and discuss how we can work together.
Hi, We are a family of four, soon to be five. We are looking for postpartum doula support to help us navigate the transition during July and potentially through mid-August. Our baby is due at the end of May, and we would ideally be looking for support starting at the end of June. I breastfed both of my children until they were around 15 months old, and we previously worked with a postpartum doula whom we had a wonderful experience with. She supported us by cooking nutritious meals, helping with light housekeeping, providing massages to support recovery, and caring for the baby so I could rest and have some personal time.
