Want someone to coach me and give tips on how to prepare for my birth
After delivery care and someone who accepts fidelis care
I'm looking for a postpartum doula to assist with newborn care in my home, located in the Valley Stream/Malverne area of Long Island. Doula expenses will be covered under the Carrot program made available through my employer, so I would need to have our doula pre-approved by filling out a short questionnaire. I would be paying the doula directly and then submit any costs for reimbursement. I will be giving birth in the hospital and may require a C-section, so I would be looking for home assistance once we are discharged and return home. I plan to combo feed (breastfeed/pump/formula). This would be for daytime assistance only, no overnights needed. Thank you in advance for your help!
We wish to give birth at home if possible $5-10,000 Still processing
Helping the baby sleep through the night Lately he’ll wake up late and stay up late
I would like to have assistance during the night, where my overnight helper is responsible for cleaning the bottles, washing, and feeding the baby, and possesses experience in handling a colicky infant.
I’ll be having a scheduled c-section and in need for a doulas help for the 3 nights hospital stay
1. Where do you plan to give birth? A hospital. 2. Estimated budget: I plan to use my health insurance, so my goal is to have coverage through my plan. 3. Birth plan: I’m aiming for a natural birth with as little intervention as possible.

I plan to give birth at a hospital, I want want not medicated birth,
Hi, I plan to give birth Katz Womens Hospital LIJ in New Hyde Park. My budget is 2,000. My husband and I currently live in Maine but are moving to Long Beach in April. we have a lot of things up in the air right now and switching OBs half way through pregnancy has me a little anxious. I dont think I will be able to build the relationship I would like with my OB / OB office in NY as much as I would like. So I would like to work with a doula before during and after birth to have some support and a familiar face during this process. This is my first pregnancy. I am currently doing a hypnobirthing course. I dont not have a full outline birth plan yet.
I plan to give birth at South Nassau hospital and would like to have a natural birth.
Seeking a postpartum doula in network with Carrot. Seeking mostly daytime shifts. I’ll need help making sure I eat and drink enough, some light cleaning and laundry help, some newborn care (change, feed, hold, etc). I do have a 2 year old at home as well so she’ll likely be in the mix. We have some dietary needs as well. Comfortable with $50-60ish/hr rate.
I would like to match with a doula that will help me prepare for birth, create a birth plan, and provide in-person support when the contractions start. Additionally, I would like a doula that will guide me and help me through breastfeeding and the first weeks of the baby. I plan to give birth at Mount Sinai West. I do not have a budget since I do not know how much this services cost, but I am open to check the offers. I do not have a birth plan yet and I would like to discuss that with the doula.
single mom by choice will give birth via C-section on Nov 7th, have little family support, seeking post partum doula for newborn care and c-section recovery and a lactation consultant to assist with learning how to breastfeed. Budget $10-12K for 4-6 weeks. Birthing at NYU hospital in NYC
Hi - I spoke with my insurance Cigna and they confirmed I have 60 days per calendar year with 16 hours per day during this time for a postpartum home health care for me and my newborn. No prior authorization is required. They didn't call it a doula but they called it a PP home health care. They couldn't give me a list of eligible providers, I kept getting either a list of home health care providers (which included nursing homes or Lenox Hill Radiology) or OBGYNs. I would like to connect and discuss how we can work together.
