I want a delayed clamping, no shots or vaccines administered. I would like post partum assistance. I would like someone who is holistic or aware, open, and understanding of these desires. I want to keep and dehydrate the placenta for later. I want my pregnancy and birthing as natural as possible. I am pescatarian so I only consume fish, not "land" meat. I do desire support, including emotional and mental. I am not due at the moment but I am on the search for someone before it occurs. I don't believe in waiting last minute for something this big. I suffered alot from having to do last minute with my first.

Hello! My name is Cate Jackson. I am currently 32 weeks with my first baby, it’s a girl, and I am so excited to be a mom. I am feeling both nervous and excited about giving birth. It is 100% my goal to have a natural birth. I am looking for the support of an understanding Doula that can help me feel more confident about going the natural route in a safe setting, whether that’s a hospital or at home, and if at a hospital can help me advocate for myself about the interventions hospital staff are trained to provide for births. I am trying my best to work on techniques like breathing and learning different positions to make natural birth manageable for my first time. My fear is the unknown of what to expect even though I’ve watched so many videos and listened to so many podcasts, I think every body is different. I want my birth experience to be as low intervention as possible, however having someone besides my partner to guide me through the intensity of it all would be a life saver. It would be my dream to be at a birthing center but i have not had any luck finding one that we would be able to afford, or insurance would cover. Planning on having a hospital birth. The current birth plan is a c-section due to prior spinal surgeries the mother has had. The only people present in the hospital room will be the mother, husband, doula, doctors, and nurses pre-birth and during. We would prefer if the provider has certifications and at least 3 years of experience. We do not require any additional languages other than English. The mother is classified as advanced maternal age. Parental education and preparation would be preferred. Estimated budget is $1000 - $1600 per month in costs.

I will be giving birth at Women's Hospital I'm looking for an unmedicated birth as both my mom and sister were allergic to pain meds I have Tricare insurance this is my first baby and he is due in January.

I am having a c-section December 17th, I also have an 11 year old son, and my fiancé works full time. Both of my parents passed nearly 3 years ago and I do not have siblings, so I'm lacking in emotional and physical support and I think I'll need help whenever we return from the hospital. My healing process with the first c-section did not go smoothly, so I'm most nervous about healing while having to take care of a newborn and middle schooler.
