|
Location: Jackson, MS 39212, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: July 23, 2026
Hey, my name is angel. I am currently 6 months postpartum, while also being pregnant at 13 weeks right now. I plan on having a home birth if possible. I don't really have a budget right now. To be real, my birth plan is more spiritual.\n I just want to have a calm, relaxed, peaceful birth. I know it's not gonna be easy. I just need better support from healthcare providers based off how my birth was when I was pregnant last, and when I gave birth to my 6 month old, so now that I'm pregnant again, I'm just looking to have a relaxing , peaceful birth experience , really nothing to extravagant. With genuine people who provide natural birth experiences for not on only the child but for the mother as well. |

Lacie is looking for Postpartum Doula, Midwife, Birth Doula
|
Location: Eureka Springs, AR, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: May 16, 2026
I've always wanted to have my babies naturally with little to no pain medication, IV or laughing gas would be as far as I would go. I do not want to labor or give birth in a hospital unless I have no other choice, if things take a turn I have a doctor at Mercy hospital. Our estimated budget would probably be 1.5k-2.k overall. We're a young couple starting out in a new town, we're starting to get back on our feet and we were not expecting to have a little one so soon. I want a water birth with low lighting, calming music and an aroma im familiar with, one doula and at least one to two midwives, my husband will be there and as for extras that is yet to be decided. I would also like either a foam mat low to the ground or a bed to get on if we need a change from the pool/tub. Yoga balls and all the fixings. Basically whatever I need to have a safe, smooth and calm birth, that'll be cheaper and less stressful than a hospital stay. Thank you! |

|
Location: Seneca, MO 64865, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: December 31, 2025
I need a certified doula to help at night a couple times a week. I really need a full nights rest. During the night they will be in charge of a 8 week old. They are to feed and change his diaper. It will also be helpful to put together my pump parts and bring it to me once during the night. Average time would be 12am-8am. No budget. |

Jennifer is looking for Postpartum Doula, Birth Doula
|
Location: Chalmette, LA 70043, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: March 09, 2026
I just discovered your information through Aetna Better Health Medicaid. Are you in network or have they made a mistake? I was digging and discovered reimbursement information for Medicaid covered doula services. I am mostly interested in prenatal and birth doula. I had a doula with my 1st of 6 children, only 1 was medicated and this is my last pregnancy but I always wished Medicaid would come on board. My new partner is uneducated to unmedicated birth or doulas and was completely helpless during our last child’s birth and I would really like better support this time around. |

Deborah is looking for Postpartum Doula, Mental Health Therapist, Lactation Consultant
|
Location: Wichita, KS 67217, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: June 22, 2026
I would like to have a weekly mom group I can be a part of. I live in Kansas. I struggled with postpartum depression with my last pregnancy. It consumed me for 6-9 months post partum. I had to take zoloft and attend weekly therapy consultations. I was on mental health watch from my doctors. My health insurance provided me with a nurse that called me once a week. It was the winter in 2020 and I was all alone. I had planned to breast feed and had all the supplies but no milk came. That is what triggered my PPD. I felt like I wasn't really a mom and I didn't deserve to have a child since I couldn't properly care for it. I felt like a burden to my baby and every single person I ran into (stranger or friend or family member) Their very first (or second) question was "Are you breastfeeding?" and I would just drown from my own grief and guilt of being clearly insufficient; and shut down completely. I dissociated and felt the walls closing in. This mental collapse made caring for a newborn difficult since I was not bonding with my baby I was just feeling worthless. And babies play off of the vibes of the mother. A calm mother will have a calm baby. A distressed mother will have a distressed baby. And so the snowball rolled. I want to be proactive this time around. I want to have a support network that feels real and authentic. A penpal? An online class with cameras so that we can all see each other? I plan to give birth at the hospital and my plan is to go with the flow. That is what feels the best for me. Planning and over planning something like giving birth is a mistake, in my opinion. I want to experience it as it happens. I want to feel the needs of my baby and provide my body with the mental support it needs. I want to have a caring nurse there who advocates for me better than even I can, because doctors can be harsh and rude and labor can alter moods/emotions. I watch "Call the Midwife" and I would love to have someone like that. But midwives are expensive and I cannot afford them. My income is about $40k annually. I do not have low-income govt assistance. I have health insurance through my employer. I plan to take 3 months Maternity leave. |

Location: Reeds Spring, MO 65737, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: September 04, 2026
Hi I’m reaching out because my over the phone OB said you are a doula that my Medicade will sponsor? I’m just trying to see if this is accurate. I’m wanting emotional and physical support before, during and after baby is born. This is my first child and would like another advocate that will help me through the process and will stand on business with these nurses. I know exactly what I want for this birth, and I don’t need them to tell me no :) |

Kay is looking for Postpartum Doula, Birth Doula, Lactation Consultant
|
Location: Hattiesburg, MS 39402, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: January 24, 2026
I plan to give birth at a hospital. I’m open to pricing conversations. This is my first time as a mom so I don’t know where to begin with budget talks. I want to labor at home as long as I can with support before going to the hospital to reduce interventions that are unnecessary. I want to try my best not to have an epidural. I want to be free to be in different positions to help the baby move through. Afterwards i don’t want to be rushed to cut the umbilical cord or have them push on my stomach to force the placenta out. I want it to happen naturally and if interventions are needed that’s the only time I want to consider. I do want to try my best to breastfeed but I don’t want to strictly nurse. I’m interested in pumping and possibly combo feeding. |

Destiny is looking for Postpartum Doula, Midwife, Birth Doula
|
Location: Gulfport, MS 39503, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: September 23, 2026
This is my third pregnancy. My first two were delivered via c-sections with Dr. Ware at memorial hospital. I planned a natural birth with my first but developed preeclampsia towards the end which called for a C-section after the pitocin disturbed her heart rate. The second pregnancy I didn’t want a c-section but towards the end the doctor suggested that it would be the best route due to the history of my first pregnancy. With this pregnancy she announced that c-section would be the plan again but I would really like to see if I’m able to do a natural birth. I’m not high risk for anything. And my blood pressure is okay. |
