I plan on giving birth at the hospital, I am yet to decide on birth plan.

I’m a fairly young first time mother so i’m not really well versed in all the labor & baby things. I plan on having the baby at metropolitan methodist Hospital, from my brief research i’d say my budget would be about $1500 & as far as my birth plan i’d like to give birth in a hospital, medicated as i’m not sure if anything else as of yet.

I need a safe space so what I say is heard before birth during birth, and after I would like someone that is sympathetic and easy-going I have a very hard at home life and it’s affecting my pregnancy now I have a high risk pregnancy and I have gallstones i’m not getting the best. I’m not drinking enough water and I already have a one-year-old toddler. I don’t have the best way of payment, but if y’all take any insurance, I do have Aetna. My birth plan entails trying more options instead of induced labor and epidural. With my first. I had very bad experience with both. I would like to try walking around and ice chips and any other way besides the epidural

I am 100% unprepared and over whelmed. I don’t really have a birth plan yet but have a rough idea. We will be in a hospital and I don’t have any idea what this will cost. Looking for someone that can help in the hospital and at home afterwards. It will be just my husband and I. All my family is out of state. I need a midwife that is CNM certified so that Tricare will cover it. Unfortunately we cannot afford a midwife on our own and need to walk through what our insurance will cover. We don't know our situation yet as far as a home birth or needing a midwife to meet us at a nearby hospital when the time comes so we would love someone able to do either one. One big factor in desiring a midwife is to have the personal care and time of the same provider at each baby appointment and to be able to reach out to that midwife at anytime if I have questions or concerns along the way in pregnancy.
