Wanting a hospital birth but low intervention. Budget is small.

I want to have an advocate for my birth plan with me and also someone helping me through my pregnancy and delivery. I want to feel as prepared as I can with helpful knowledge and a more natural approach that is best for the baby not what the standards are which sometimes I feel like the hospital goes by.

I’m not exactly sure, I’ve never done this and I’m wanting an at home birth if possible. My budget is probably around $4,000-$5,000.

I am looking for someone who will provide a home birth. I am on a tight budget. I have done this 10 times already, all of them at home. The one midwife in my area made too many oopsies on the last delivery she made and am looking for someone a little less hospital happy as the hospitals in my area are not good at delivering babies.

i plan on giving birth at the hospital. my estimated budget is 300 i have medicaid so i do not know if it covers for that. i do not want to give birth laying down in water or squatting is preferred. i want to do delayed cord cutting until the cord runs white and i only want two people in the room with me during birth which is my mom and boyfriend (& whoever is helping me)

I plan to give birth at home. I am currently on Medicaid receiving prenatal care fully covered, however I want to have a home birth instead of a hospital birth. I would be happy to pay a midwife for care during birth and postpartum care. I have had 2 births vaginally in hospital, this is my 3rd child. Healthy pregnancy, not high risk. I would love more than anything to have a home birth and enjoy this birth unmedicated & in water.

I've always wanted to have my babies naturally with little to no pain medication, IV or laughing gas would be as far as I would go. I do not want to labor or give birth in a hospital unless I have no other choice, if things take a turn I have a doctor at Mercy hospital. Our estimated budget would probably be 1.5k-2.k overall. We're a young couple starting out in a new town, we're starting to get back on our feet and we were not expecting to have a little one so soon. I want a water birth with low lighting, calming music and an aroma im familiar with, one doula and at least one to two midwives, my husband will be there and as for extras that is yet to be decided. I would also like either a foam mat low to the ground or a bed to get on if we need a change from the pool/tub. Yoga balls and all the fixings. Basically whatever I need to have a safe, smooth and calm birth, that'll be cheaper and less stressful than a hospital stay. Thank you!

I would like a natural delivery in a hospital. In ok with nitrous oxide and I wanted delayed cord clamping (until cord is no longer pulsing. I want a provider that is covered by Medicaid.

We are planning on doing an unmedicated birth at the Barns Jewish Hospital here in St. Louis. I would have preferred to go the birth center route, but all the centers were booked up so we are making the hospital setting work! We learned through the hospital that we are permitted to incorporate midwives in our birth, but their function would be blunted by the hospitals’ requirements - so they would serve more as a knowledgeable support person. Our insurance covers midwifery services so as long as a midwife is in network (Cigna) our budget is unlimited!

I always wanted a home birth and giving that I’m now pregnant and also Active duty Air Force, I hear my chances of that are low to not happening. However, I’m allowed to have a midwife and doula and I want one to help me through this! I honestly don’t know how to budget this because I know the military pays for everything but I’m hearing there limitations to how much they cover for a midwife and doula, so if I had to put a number on it I would say $3000. I plan to have a healthy and peaceful birth in a pool in the middle of my living room with my husband by my side and medical team( midwife, doula, etc). I’m not looking anything over the top just a safe and healthy delivery.
