First, I’d like to try and labor home as long as possible.Second, as soon as I get to the hospital no medicine unless necessary and the epidural at 5-6 cm.And I want a quiet, dim light and when time to push I want to try positions other than laying on my back that are possible to do with an epidural.No episiotomy unless necessary and delayed cord clamping with skin to skin.

I plan on giving birth at Mission Hospital in Asheville. I’m hoping to have someone to help advocate for my needs and coach my birthing process. I had an accident and fell last Thursday and was in the hospital being monitored during hurricane Helene. I was there alone for 3 days with no power and water and so afraid. My husband couldn’t get to me due to road closures and it was really lonely and scary. I am hoping to find someone who can be there with me and my husband and who can help me with the process. I’m planning on getting an epidural but hope to deliver her vaginally. I’m 37 years old and considered a high risk pregnancy. So far everything has been good health wise. Hello, my original plan was a hospital delivery, but have since been considering a home delivery. I would like assistance in preparing my body for delivery and forming realistic expectations for the delivery and birth plan. As of now my birth plan is for a hospital delivery with little to no medication, no induction, no artificially breaking my water, no purple pushing, to push in a position of comfort, have freedom to move as my body needs, and minimal to no cervical checks.
