Prisma Heath-Patewood in Greenville for birth. Would like to have a postpartum doula to help with baby and house chores. Don’t have a complete birth plan yet but I am working on it. I do know I want low lights, be able to move around as much as possible, delayed cord, delayed bath, positive energy, calming music. Not sure on pain management completely. At the moment planning to move as much as possible with IV and Nitrous and then switch to an epidural later on. Also want to labor at home as long as I can handle the pain. Possibly use bath/shower to help with pain.

Looking for extra support after my child is born. I wont have family other then my older grandparents and my boyfriend to help post partum. Im high risk for post partum depression and know that lack of sleep will deeply impact my ability to mother until a routine is established. Most likely will need help nights and helping my boyfriend learn to help me and my child the way we need support after doula is gone! I take medication for adhd, depression and anxiety so im not sure if ill breastfeed fully yet. Ideally i would like to. Being a Christian is a plus! I dont have alot of money but can discuss budget.

Hello, I am seeking a doula to help me prep for a natural birth as well as assist while having birth with my husband

I plan on giving birth at Mission Hospital in Asheville. I’m hoping to have someone to help advocate for my needs and coach my birthing process. I had an accident and fell last Thursday and was in the hospital being monitored during hurricane Helene. I was there alone for 3 days with no power and water and so afraid. My husband couldn’t get to me due to road closures and it was really lonely and scary. I am hoping to find someone who can be there with me and my husband and who can help me with the process. I’m planning on getting an epidural but hope to deliver her vaginally. I’m 37 years old and considered a high risk pregnancy. So far everything has been good health wise. My budget is between $500-1k. Thank you for your consideration!

Open to discussion depending on services but ranging from 2-6k 3. Natural birth- no inducing or unnecessary medical interventions, keep baby in room, postponed vaccinations (discuss vaccines we are willing to give at birth), delayed cord clamping (until white or placenta is delivered), want to be in a position that’s comfortable for me. No IV’s or needles unless necessary- extremely fearful of needles. Ability to move around, get in shower etc.,- whatever helps me feel comfortable.

Help aim the nights my baby’s dad works with the needs of my newborn. I am currently relactating so I have to strictly pump every 2/3 hours which makes it hard whenever she needs something at the same time

My family and I are expecting our 2nd boy due November 18th. We had our 4 year old at the Asheville birth center when we lived in Buncombe County. We now live in Morganton and are planning on having Baby AJ at natural beginnings birth center in Statesville. Our home flooded during Hurricane Helene luckily only impacting the lowest level of our garage, walk in basement, and spared our kitchen and bedrooms. Myself and 4 year old lived with my parents for about 3 1/2 weeks after while my husband gutted the space, our HVAC system and hot water heater were replaced, and the mold mitigation was completed. Needless to say we are not as prepared as we had anticipated at 37 weeks pregnant. We lost our car seat and stroller to the flood along with other baby gear we had stored in the garage. We still have items scattered in our yard that we would like to attempt to sanitize and salvage. Our space and storage became smaller as we have not had the new construction for our garage or basement which was our playroom/office/guest room started. I had significant postpartum depression/anxiety with my first. This event has been difficult and I'm anxious already about my mental health. I think trying to line up as many supports as I can for my postpartum period will be essential to making the transition smoother. I'm looking to form some connections in this area as my education to resources in Morganton is limited compared to the community we had when living in Swannanoa. We had a birth doula for our first and used a postpartum doula when I returned back to work. Both we used through Homegrown Babies in Asheville. Look forward to chatting with whoever may be recommended as a match to set up some supports for when our new guy arrives.
