Chinique Brown

23 years of experience

Hey there, radiant parents-to-be! I’m Chinique Brown, Clinician III with a master’s in psychology and a vibrant Full-Spectrum Doula. I bring high-energy, evidence-based care and wholehearted support through pregnancy, AND the transformative postpartum period. Certified Full-Spectrum Birth Doula whose heart races with the incredible energy of labor and birth, supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the powerful transition into postpartum. As a Clinician III, I develop and deliver individualized crisis plans along with crisis intervention, bringing advanced clinical insight into doula care. When labor begins, I stand beside you as your trusted advocate, offering calm guidance, evidence-based comfort techniques, and empowering advocacy that boost confidence, reduce interventions, and strengthen your birth experience. Once your baby arrives, I will continue as your Postpartum Doula, supporting the “fourth trimester” with hands-on newborn care, breastfeeding and pumping support, emotional check-ins, light household assistance, and mood monitoring—helping families adapt, bond, and heal in a vulnerable yet transformative time. My certifications—Certified Peer Support Specialist, Harm Reduction Specialist, Certified Doula, Certified Full Spectrum & Postpartum Doula—alongside my Lactation Counselor and Educator training in progress, equip me to meet you with non-judgmental, trauma-informed, and culturally affirming care. Whether you're birthing in a hospital, birth center, or at home, I blend my clinical training with doula devotion, believing every family—including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and historically marginalized communities—deserves to feel empowered, respected, and profoundly supported at every stage. Let’s walk this journey together: from the first breath of labor to the gentle rhythm of postpartum life, I’m here to hold space, advocate fiercely, and celebrate you. You can reach me at youcandoulaservices1.com or 843-364-9493, text or call to book a consultation. I look forward to hearing from you.

Teshia Pasley

26 years of experience

My name is Teshia, I am a DONA certified birth doula, PAIL advocate, Childhood educator, and nanny. As a faith-based doula, my approach to birth work is rooted in compassion, faith, and the belief that every birth is scared and should be a precious experience. I am an advocate of bringing faith, natural and traditional birth methods to mothers from the high risks population to black minorities. I am walking in my purpose to support and hold space for all mothers (inclusively) during pregnancy, birth, postpartum phase, and beyond. It is in my purpose to walk alongside my clients offering not only physical and emotional support, and resources, but also spiritual comfort with a sense of peace. I am experienced in hospital, home, and cesarean births. We will cover the "stages of labor," build the ideal birth plan, and encourage informed consent in any decision-making moment. I love creating the environment that would set the tone for any occasion, whether it be breastfeeding, relaxation, bonding time, or self-care spaces. I look forward to supporting you and your family😇

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Teshia during my pregnancy, birth and afterwards and I can't recommend her highly enough. As a first time mom, I was feeling overwhelmed and unsure of what to expect. From our first meeting, Teshia put me at ease with her warmth, knowledge, and clam presence. She took the time to understand my birth preferences, answer questions (and I had a lot) and support both me and my partner through every stage. Her support made a huge difference in helping me feel empowered, in control and equipped with the right information to make decisions. If you are looking for a doula who is compassionate, spiritual, reliable and deeply committed to your well-being and baby, Teshia is amazing to work with.

Dr. A is truly a lifesaver! From the moment we connected, I felt seen, heard, and completely supported. Her rare combination of expertise as a Doctor of Psychology, pediatric sleep consultant, special education teacher, postpartum doula, psychiatric nurse and ABA therapist makes her a one-of-a-kind resource for families navigating early childhood and developmental challenges. Her sleep guidance was compassionate, science-based, and tailored to our family’s needs. Within days, my baby was sleeping better and so was I. As a postpartum doula, she brought peace, calm, and reassurance into our home during one of the most vulnerable times in my life. Her nurturing presence helped me bond with my baby, trust my instincts, and heal emotionally. Her ABA background shines through in how she understands child behavior—not just with techniques, but with deep empathy. She doesn’t just offer solutions; she empowers parents with knowledge and confidence. If you're looking for a professional who truly understands babies, children, and the emotional journey of parenthood, Dr. A is it. She blends wisdom with warmth, clinical skill with heartfelt care. We are beyond grateful and couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Kendall Francis

Kendall Francis

4 years of experience

Hello friends!! I wanted to properly introduce myself. My name is Kendall Francis. I am a christian certified birth doula. I serve mama’s in the Fort Mill and Charlotte surrounding areas during pregnancy and postpartum. I am married to my best friend, Collin Francis and we just had the most perfect baby girl, Saylor Grace Francis, born at home on July 31st, 2022. Our hearts are so full! I became a doula because I am so passionate about everything pregnancy and birth but most importantly because I believe women and their families need such a strong support system during this season in their life. I worked in the hospital system for almost 4 years on several different units from ER to maternity, went to nursing school and got my LPN degree all to realize I wanted nothing more than to support women holistically. I believe with all my heart that it is OUR decision as women how our pregnancy journey should turn out and WE have the control, not our providers. That is where I come in as your doula to help educate and advocate for you every step of the way no matter what you decide for your birth. Whether that be at home, at a birthing center or a hospital, I will be by your side. If you would like to connect and talk more about your dream birth feel free to send me a message! I am so excited to meet you and your family!

Kendall is truly one of the most incredible people I’ve ever met. From the moment I met her I knew I wanted her as my doula. She made me feel loved, comforted, cared for, amongst so many other things. For my birth, she came as soon as I felt I needed support and stayed through the postpartum period, over 24 hours. She didn’t even talk about leaving me during this time and stayed through it ALL. She supported every decision I made, encouraged me to make position changes to help progress my labor, prayed over me, held a fan to my face for HOURS, spoke kindly and softly and was just everything I needed. She started as my doula and I now consider her one of my closest friends. I love her so much. She’s truly made for this!
