She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Physical Activity Management and Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from South Carolina State University. Her oldest, Liam, was born via emergency C-section and her youngest, Ausar, was a VBAC, as a home birth. She has breastfed both of them a total of 6 years. She has extended her knowledge by researching and learning from other mothers who breastfed their little ones in a Facebook Group. She has had the opportunity to become a moderator in the same group. She strives to assist mothers and their families by recommending evidence based research and a holistic approach during prenatal, natal and postpartum.
