Suzanne Nicklas, RN, IBCLC

11 years of experience

Hi, I'm Suzanne Nicklas! I'm a Registered Nurse, IBCLC, Doula and Health Coach based in Greenville, SC. As a nurse, my passion has been working with new parents and infants. I have worked with hundreds of families in my fifteen years as a lactation consultant and doula. I love educating families prior to the birth of their baby and particularly enjoy the postpartum period. As the mother of four, my own birth experiences led me to this work. I offer 24/7 on call Lactation "office hours" to assist families at any time of day or night. My passion for wellness started many years ago when I took the first of many health coach trainings, the first being through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I began health coaching in 2010 and since then my practice has transformed and grown in many ways. As I have grown as a person, so has my work. Along the way I have picked up skills based on my own personal interests and broadened my education and am able to share those with both my lactation and doula clients as well as my coaching clients. Some of these training include yoga, aromatherapy and reiki. It is my love of combining conventional and alternative philosophies of care that led me to Ayurveda and Yoga. My trainings have enabled me to blend the wisdom of Eastern medicine into our Western way of living to create lifestyle transformations that work in our busy day to day lives. All of my services are offered both virtually and in person. Lastly but most importantly, as a partner and mother of four amazing humans, I bring both personal experience and professional care to the families I serve. I am honored that you have chosen to visit my site and I look forward to working together.

Ava Babinski

I'm Ava; a very passionate birth and postpartum doula devoted to supporting women who desire a calm, instinctive, and physiological birth experience. My love for birth began early in life when I witnessed my own mother bring two of my younger brothers into the world through 2 peaceful homebirths. Watching the strength, intuition, and beauty of those moments deeply shaped my belief that birth is not something to fear, but something to trust. My philosophy centers on honoring the body's natural design for birth- not the societally pushed or man-created model of birth that often leads women to doubt their own instinct. I believe that birth "works" best when it is protected, undisturbed, and guided by a mother's intuition. When women are supported with evidence-based information, true informed consent, and a peaceful environment, their bodies are capable of incredible things. my approach prioritizes physiologic birth, instinctive movement, and protecting the natural hormone flow that supports labor, bonding, and postpartum recovery. I especially love supporting families who are drawn to physiological birth, low- intervention options, and creating a birth environment that feels peaceful and intentional. Whether you're planning a homebirth or simply hoping for a more natural and supported experience, I am here to walk alongside you with steady support, evidence-based information, and wholehearted encouragement.

5/5 ⭐️ Ava was an amazing doula to have! She is so sweet and compassionate and responsive to both mother’s and father’s needs during labor and delivery! She helped us with learning and getting into different laboring positions, keeping track of minutes, various calming techniques (i.e. aroma therapy, hydrotherapy, etc.), use of different tools (i.e. birthing comb, peanut ball, etc.), and timing our departure for the birthing center just right! She was so encouraging during my labor and delivery and incredibly supportive postpartum too with a gift basket, foot massage, and demonstration of how to wrap a belly binder. I had the best experience with her and will definitely be reaching out again in the future! Highly recommend!

I’m Jernae Webb, the owner of Divinity Doula a full continuum‑of‑care agency supporting families through birth, postpartum, early learning, and nanny placement. Supporting parents is truly one of the joys of my life. Families often tell me, “We’re so glad you’re here,” or “You’ve really helped us through this season,” and hearing that never gets old. It reminds me why this work doesn’t feel like work at all. I love witnessing the little smiles, the tiny milestones, and the quiet moments of confidence that grow in new parents. I remember being a first‑time mom myself. All of the unknowns, all the firsts, and that experience is the heart behind everything I do. It’s why I’m committed to creating steady, supportive care that helps families feel held, prepared, and never alone. Alongside my team’s birth, postpartum, and nanny placement support, I also host monthly mommy gatherings to offer connection, education, and community. I support families beginning their homeschooling journey as well, helping them build early learning foundations with confidence and joy.

Highly recommend Jernae! She brings a calming energy to your home, which is so needed postpartum. Her services allowed us to get hours and hours of unbroken sleep, delicious food, and a more functional household overall! We felt so comfortable with her presence in the home and her care of our newborn son.

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a wife, mother to three beautiful girls, and a doula who believes every woman deserves to feel heard, protected, and deeply cared for during their journey to motherhood. I found my calling to be a doula through my own journey into motherhood and my three very different birth stories. Birth is one of the most powerful and vulnerable experiences in a woman’s life, and no one should have to walk through it alone. I believe birth is a God-given process. My role as your doula is to help create an environment where the body feels safe, supported, and free to do the work it was created to do. Birth can be unpredictable, but your support shouldn’t be. Whether you need a calm voice during labor, someone to advocate for your wishes, or simply a reassuring presence, I’m there. When you invite me into your birth journey, you’re not just gaining a doula, you’re gaining someone who will treat you like family. I believe every family deserves to feel heard, protected, and confident in their choices. I will walk beside you using my personal experiences and evidence based information to provide steady support and encouragement so that you can make decisions that feel right for you and your baby and step into your birth experience feeling confident and prepared. To me, this work is not just about birth. It’s about people. It’s about families. Your birth, your voice, your story. I’m simply there to help you feel supported, protected, and empowered through it all. Whatever your birth goals are, I’d love to hear them. I have faith in you. Let’s chat and see if we’re a good match!

Karen is absolutely amazing - very knowledgeable, and so kind and compassionate. I highly recommend her! She gave me trust: trust in myself and also trust in her - I knew I was in good hands - which are both so important in the process of giving life. Her support was excellent, from start to finish, and also on all levels, whether physical, mental or emotional. She made sure I was at my best for the birth, as we were able to detect and fix imbalances during the pregnancy. I really appreciated how she blends modern medicine with alternative and natural remedies, and also all the recommendations of books and resources she provided to educate myself. All the postpartum support was perfect too, she actively followed up on my baby's and my own health and well-being. I feel like my words are not enough to describe how grateful I am that she was my midwife. Thank you for everything, Karen!

Jessica was our doula and wow..she went above and beyond for us! As a first time mom, she was exactly what my husband and I needed. I had a hospital birth that didn’t go the smoothest, jessica found a way to still make it as comfortable and as calm as possible. She has such a servants heart and I can’t wait to use her again in the future!

— Makaela P., review of Jessica Ebersole June 2026

We thought we weren’t going to use a doula until we got introduced to Jessica! She has a true comfort about her and we vibed immediately. During my very long labor that lead to a hospital transfer, she didn’t skip a beat. She prayed with me when things were really scary and she remembered all of my desires, advocating for each of them. My husband and I would highly recommend Jessica for your doula needs! She is empathetic, a true advocate and knows how to read a room!

— Cassie G., review of Jessica Ebersole June 2026

Jessica got me through my birth and helped me get my VBAC! She joined my birth team extremely late in my pregnancy - we met in person the same day I gave birth - and it felt like we’d known each other for years! She is so knowledgeable and supportive. Between the hip squeezes that saved my life, the essential oils that kept me sane, and all the gross and gory pictures she happily responded to at all hours, I’ll never give birth again without her! ❤️
