About me

Hi, I'm Suzanne Nicklas! I'm a Registered Nurse, IBCLC, Doula and Health Coach based in Greenville, SC. As a nurse, my passion has been working with new parents and infants. I have worked with hundreds of families in my fifteen years as a lactation consultant and doula. I love educating families prior to the birth of their baby and particularly enjoy the postpartum period. As the mother of four, my own birth experiences led me to this work. I offer 24/7 on call Lactation "office hours" to assist families at any time of day or night. My passion for wellness started many years ago when I took the first of many health coach trainings, the first being through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I began health coaching in 2010 and since then my practice has transformed and grown in many ways. As I have grown as a person, so has my work. Along the way I have picked up skills based on my own personal interests and broadened my education and am able to share those with both my lactation and doula clients as well as my coaching clients. Some of these training include yoga, aromatherapy and reiki. It is my love of combining conventional and alternative philosophies of care that led me to Ayurveda and Yoga. My trainings have enabled me to blend the wisdom of Eastern medicine into our Western way of living to create lifestyle transformations that work in our busy day to day lives. All of my services are offered both virtually and in person. Lastly but most importantly, as a partner and mother of four amazing humans, I bring both personal experience and professional care to the families I serve. Ayurvedic Doula Care Packages The Golden Hour – 1 Day of Care For those wanting a taste of Ayurvedic postpartum healing. Includes: • One nourishing Ayurvedic postpartum meal & healing tea • Gentle abhyanga oil massage (for parent or baby, depending on need) • Herbal bath or warming compress for comfort • Emotional support and grounding practices $80/hr The Sacred Week – 7 Days of Care A week of support for body, mind, and spirit as you settle into new parenthood. Includes: • Daily check-in (in person or virtual) • Seven Ayurvedic meals + teas to support healing & lactation • Gentle abhyanga oil massage sessions • Guidance for infant care, feeding, and family rhythm • Herbal remedies & rituals for warmth, digestion, and rest $900/week The 42-Day Restoration – Traditional Ayurvedic Care Based on the ancient Ayurvedic practice of sacred postpartum rest — forty two days of care to restore your vitality and lay a strong foundation for motherhood/parenthood. My most popular service! Breastfeeding can be challenging and those challenges dont always come during the day (they can, but not always). This is why I created my 24/7 on call Breastfeeding Support. A simple 30 minute call can make all of the difference. Build confidence, learn skills and receive the support.you need. This affordable service is perfect for any new parent and can be an appoinent to check in on prpgress or a supportove.call when you need it most.

I do continue to offer birth doula services on a case by case basis. Due to the time commitment and scheduling I want to ensure my availability to families. After an initial phone call I meet with families to review needs and expectations to ensure I am able to meet a families needs and that we are a good fit.
