Birth Doula Care

This service includes: • Evidence-based education and information • Referrals and access to an online resource library • Creation of a birth plan/preference • 1-3 prenatal visits • On-call support whenever you may need it (even past your birth- i’m a foreva-eva doula!) • In-person support during labor and delivery • 1-2 at home postpartum visits • Lactation assistance • Daytime postpartum care

$1,000 USD · Flat rate

Overnight Doula Care

This service includes hands-on postpartum care such as:
Newborn basics information + education
Referrals and access to a private online virtual library
Support with older siblings
Infant overnight care while parents rest and revitalize
Lactation support
Post-birth healing support and education
Healing and nourishing food preparation and education
Light housekeeping and more!
PACKAGE OPTIONS:
12 hour shifts/night

What is a doula?

As your doula, I will be your bff / human google / maid-of-honor for all things birth and postpartum! I will support and empower you and your partner to make the decisions that are best for you and your family. I will provide you with hands-on support, emotional support, and evidence-based information. I will never speak for you, nor make any decisions for you- but yet, I will be there to remind you of your goals, keep you calm, safe, and focused, and hopefully be a part of a magical journey!

What is the difference between a postpartum doula and a nanny?

A nanny cares only for your children. A postpartum doula cares for both the birthing person and the newborn in the tender time post-birth. This means that all while I am helping you become the best parents for your baby, I am also nurturing the birthing persons needs and helping to facilitate a smooth emotional and physical transition into the postpartum period.

Does insurance cover doula care?

Short answer is… sometimes! It all depends on your insurance. What I like to do for my clients that not many other doulas do is provide my clients with a “superbill”- basically a super detailed receipt after my services have been provided and paid in full by you. You can submit this “receipt” to your insurance company and they could potentially reimburse you! I can’t guarantee anything but it’s worth a shot and I am happy to help!
