I need a vbac friendly doula to help facilitate my first natural birth. I’m delivering at memorial hospital in Gulfport.
Plan to give birth in the hospital. Wanting to have a unmedicated birth
This is my third pregnancy. My first two were delivered via c-sections with Dr. Ware at memorial hospital. I planned a natural birth with my first but developed preeclampsia towards the end which called for a C-section after the pitocin disturbed her heart rate. The second pregnancy I didn’t want a c-section but towards the end the doctor suggested that it would be the best route due to the history of my first pregnancy. With this pregnancy she announced that c-section would be the plan again but I would really like to see if I’m able to do a natural birth. I’m not high risk for anything. And my blood pressure is okay.
This is my first pregnancy and I’m curious about finding a doula who accepts tricare. I feel like I mostly need some help with the birthing positions and just a little guidance since I’m not sure what to expect
I plan to give birth unmedicated in the hospital and hope to have a doula to support me through different pain coping mechanisms, while advocating for my preferences and declining parts of hospital policy. Also looking for a doula that accepts Tricare.
I plan on a hospital birth but a very natural birth . What ever position at the time feels most comfortable and natural for my body without being forced on my back
