I’m considering a postpartum doula to make the transition home with my first baby more manageable by providing hands-on guidance with newborn care, feeding, soothing, sleep routines, and building confidence. I would also appreciate help with light household tasks, including washing bottles, baby laundry, tidying, preparing simple meals, and maintaining the immediate living space. This support would allow me to focus on healing, resting, and bonding with my baby while receiving reassurance and answers to questions during those important early weeks.

Help with learning and getting comfortable with breast feeding. Also thinking about trying a natural birth. Help with healthy options and exercises or stretches I can do to stay active.

I would like my birthing experience to be vibrational (Hertz music) and calm atmosphere in preparation for birth. My OBGYN is older and well expert for labor and delivery. I will need emotional support and gentle care while in labor and would like to be giving the option to NOT lay on my back for labor (squat position or kneel position). Breast feeding is optional but preferred for baby to latch on.

This is my third pregnancy. My first two were delivered via c-sections with Dr. Ware at memorial hospital. I planned a natural birth with my first but developed preeclampsia towards the end which called for a C-section after the pitocin disturbed her heart rate. The second pregnancy I didn’t want a c-section but towards the end the doctor suggested that it would be the best route due to the history of my first pregnancy. With this pregnancy she announced that c-section would be the plan again but I would really like to see if I’m able to do a natural birth. I’m not high risk for anything. And my blood pressure is okay.
