Hi, I'm reaching out because I'm hoping you might be able to point me in the right direction for help for my very pregnant friend in Frederick! I no longer live in Maryland (I'm out in Denver now), but I'm trying to help my best friend who lives in Frederick. She has a 2.5-year-old and is currently 37 weeks pregnant, and she's feeling a bit overwhelmed by everything that needs to get done around the house before the baby arrives. I had initially thought I'd hire someone through TaskRabbit to come help with some cleaning and organizing, but it doesn't seem like there's much of a market for that kind of help in Frederick. I thought I'd reach out in case you, or someone in your network, might be able to help. I'd love to hire someone to come in and give her house some much-needed care: a deep clean and some general organizing of baby stuff to help make room for the new baby. She has two large dogs and a toddler, and it's a small house, so there's a fair amount to tackle! I'm really hoping to take this off her plate and give her a little breathing room before the baby comes. If you know of someone who could help in this way, who does this kind of work, I'd be so grateful for a recommendation. I know it may not be a typical doula role, as there will definitely be a good amount of cleaning involved (vs. baby care). We'd be happy to pay someone fairly for their time and help!
