My goal is a safe, unmedicated vaginal, downward labor type birth with minimal intervention when medically appropriate. My priorities include consent before examinations and procedures, freedom to move and choose birth positions, a calm and low-light environment, and immediate skin-to-skin contact and breastfeeding support.
