Hospital birth Support during and after pregnancy

Since this is my first time pregnancy I need someone who can help me with the birthing and preparing mentally and physically process throughout my pregnancy. I will be giving birth in a hospital. I want to give birth without being medicated. Estimated budget is 4,000. I am 32 and would like someone older than myself. Helping with suggested prenatal care and assistance with questions and concerns through my pregnancy.

While I try to stay strong and composed, I can sometimes feel anxious when things feel uncertain. In those moments, I appreciate gentle grounding, positive affirmation, and someone who can help me slow down and breathe. This pregnancy is very special to me. I’ve been looking forward to motherhood with excitement, but also with a natural mix of nervousness about labor and delivery. My goal is to have a positive, empowering birth experience where I feel supported, heard, and safe.

I am giving birth at a hospital and would like to have a natural birth without an epidural if possible. I want to have the freedom to move around and walk, stretch, shower to distract my mind versus being stuck to the bed after a shot. I would like to support in what moves and stretches to achieve this goal.

I am giving birth at UCSF Mission Bay, My insurance covers up to 12 visits and labor support and I am also interested in postpartum support.

Prenatal planning, in-person labor support, postpartum support. Our insurance provider Kaiser provides up to 11 visits and we plan to use Kaiser. Mandarin Speaking. We would like to use Kaiser Insurance and not pay additional out of pocket.

• Certification: Postpartum Doula certification (e.g., DONA or equivalent), infant CPR certification, optional: specialized Lactation Support training (CLC or equivalent). • Experience: Ideally 5+ years of experience working with first month newborns • Languages: English and/or mandarin • Primary Focus: recovery care, newborn care education, sleep training, lactation guidance and establishing a feeding routine. • Schedule: We are currently undecided between daytime and overnight support and are open to the provider’s recommendation for the first 4 weeks. • Budget: seeking quotes for both hourly and package options

I am planning to give birth at home, in Dublin California. I’m mainly looking for a midwife and possibly a doula for support. I am planning to use my insurance at Kaiser for my scans up through the third trimester, and mainly want the midwife and possible doula team for delivery. I imagine visiting with them beforehand, but relying on my insurance for everything else leading up to delivery.
