I am looking for Doula to help me because i have two kids and another coming in the way and my husband is working full time with mandatory overtime most of the times, and sometimes 6 days a week. He will not be able to take parental leave until next year and i need a lot of help.

Looking to find out more about a birth doula, and how they provide assistance and in what capacity they provide support. And I’d like to speak with a lactation consultant for any tips. Trying to decide between home and hospital.

I am looking for Doula to work with me during the pregnancy, be there for the birth, and assist me mentally postpartum. I plan to give birth at Humber River Hospital. Birth Plan TBD. The care will be solely for me.

Second baby - hoping for VBAC after emergency c-section at 33 weeks in 2023. Had pre-eclampsia and HELLP syndrome last time but so far all of my tests have come back strong and the MFM has given me about a 95% chance at a healthy pregnancy and VBAC. Not sure what these services normally cost, so not sure what to budget for. Looking for primarily delivery support (I have anxiety and not sure what to expect from a natural birth) and post-birth support. I had a full month of NICU support when I had my son, so not sure how I'll balance my own recovery and rest bringing baby home right away this time, especially with a very dependent toddler at home (he almost exclusively relies on me for everything and I think he will have a difficult time adjusting to dad's help). I'm not sure what I'm missing but if you have any questions please ask!

Looking for a postpartum night doula with infant care expertise and lactation certification to care for our newborn for six weeks. We're hoping to exclusively breast feed with one night feed per expressed breast milk to enable rest and recovery.

* Overnight newborn care: diapering, soothing, burping, settling and getting baby back to sleep. * Breastfeeding support: bring baby to me only when a feed is needed, then take over immediately afterward. If you pump/use bottles, nanny handles the feeding when possible. * Maximize uninterrupted sleep: structure nights so i am not waking for every diaper change, burp or settling. * Bottle/pump management: wash and sterilize bottles and pump parts, prepare feeds and safely store breast milk/formula. * Newborn sleep habits: gradually establish appropriate day/night differentiation and good sleep routines—not formal sleep training in the newborn stage. * Basic overnight baby tasks: restock changing supplies and keep the feeding/changing area organized. * Experience and safety: infant CPR/first aid, safe-sleep knowledge, newborn experience and strong references.

First baby in Burlington. Care is for 11 week old boy, Cooper. Looking for night time support around 7-10 hours. Would like to start with once a week to start to see how we like it and go from there. Extra duties would include sterilizing bottles perhaps a load of laundry and helping tidy the kitchen (bonus for making breakfast). Currently still establishing a night routine.
