Planning to deliver at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. Estimated budged $1500. I would like to try to have an unmedicated birth. Looking for a doula to help with this process.

I will be giving birth at United Hospital. I have health partners insurance through the state, so any services would need to be covered by insurance. I am hoping for as natural of a birth as possible with as few interventions as possible however, I am a high risk pregnancy due to type one diabetes. (my diabetes is decently well controlled and is not the same as type two diabetes.) I had a lot of trauma from my last birthing experience, I didn’t know my rights and the doctors were VERY controlling and even forceful with me.

This is my first baby, but I am looking for a Doula in training that is able to help me achieve an unmedicated birth. I currently live in Stillwater Minnesota and plan to deliver at St. John’s Hospital. I’m hoping to find a Doula in training as my insurance does not cover a Doula at all and the cost of a trained Doula is not feasible.

I will have a hospital birth. I would like as little interventions as possible. Less than $1000 is my budget.

I am hoping to have a unmedicated birth likely at the Mother Baby Center or Twin Cities Birth Center. We were hoping for a home birth but discovered it’s a bit of an insurance challenge. I plan to use TRICARE Reserve Select insurance so hope to find a doula that works with that. Still defining my birth plan, but would love for it to be unmedicated, minimal intervention…allowing my body to do its natural thing and be empowered by kind supportive humans. :)

Hello! My name is Haddie. I plan on giving birth at the Lakeview Hospital/birthcenter in Stillwater. I am on Medicaid and would be paying through that. My birth plan is to have a positive vaginal birth. I plan on getting an epidural. I had a fairly experience last pregnancy and labor/delivery and hoping to keep that going.
