Plan to give birth in hospital first pregnancy and I’m at high risk . Don’t have much knowledge on pain management , or feeding information . Don’t know how to handle this pregnant with common sense . Looking for someone that accept Medicaid . Don’t have a birth plan
Where I plan to give birth: I plan to give birth at the hospital — specifically at Atrium Health Concord — and I’m already seeing doctors there. Estimated budget: We don’t yet have a fixed budget, but we are hoping for something in the lower-to-mid range (we would appreciate if you could tell us your typical fee range for your services). Our birth plan: This is our first baby. We’re looking for a doula to support us through the pregnancy, birth, and possibly some postpartum guidance. We’d love emotional support, help with birth-education, and guidance on what to expect during labor and delivery. For the delivery itself, we plan a hospital birth at Atrium Health Concord, under the care of our regular doctors/midwives.
I am very flexible in my birthing location. I would like to do a birthing center, but a hospital would be okay as well, if needed. I do want to be able to get an epidural if the pain becomes overwhelming. I am not sure on my exact budget, as I am not sure the average prices for a doula or midwife. I would also like someone who can help me develop a birth plan that aligns with my needs!
Hopsital w/Water birth I plan to use my medicaid insurance Need help Working on birth plan
Stretches and breathing exercises to help prepare for birth and any other options or things available to help me do so
Post birth help and assisted hospital delivery (patient advocacy). Maybe some education.
I would prefer a natural birth, somewhere close to a hospital if something goes wrong. But not at home. We use BCBS Highmark and are hoping to just use that or send them itemized receipts.
Hospital birth All natural Insurance acceptance
Hi! I’m a mom looking for a supportive, knowledgeable doula as I navigate pregnancy while caring for my baby at home. I value a calm, understanding presence and someone who can guide me, answer questions, and support me through this season. I’m hoping to find someone kind, experienced, and aligned with a natural, nurturing approach. I did have a C-section 9 months ago and I’m currently pregnant with my second baby.
I plan to give birth in a hospital but I need a doula that will help me advocate for myself. I have an overall “what I don’t want” but I’m terrible at advocating for myself and need a voice to help me not be swayed into something I don’t want to have. I am looking for a non-religious doula if possible and especially need one that takes Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina insurance. My goal is to have a natural birth in the birthing center (that’s attached to the hospital), I do not want an epidural but I’m open to trying nitrous oxide, I do not want to be induced, I’m aiming for infrequent cervical checks since they aren’t actually a way to assess progress, I want to delay cord clamping until the cord has stopped pulsating. I want to do immediate skin to skin with me and then with my husband and almost all tests can be done while doing skin to skin. I also do not want the baby taken out of my sight at any point unless for a medical emergency in which case my husband or doula would need to keep an eye on my baby at all times. I can’t think of anything else at the moment.
i am 6 weeks and 3 days. ii am just gathering information to see my options.
I plan to give birth at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte NC. I plan to have my child vaginally and need help with the laboring process. I also want someone that teaches me about breastfeeding and can help out post partum.
I am 35 weeks pregnant w/my 1st baby… His father & I are very into nature & not going to hospital unless absolutely necessary. Especially when it comes to a newborn, we have exceptional reasons why…. My mother, grandma, cousin, & doctors are very upset we chose to do this alone at home w/no medical interventions. So they convinced me to atleast just get a midwife. Please help us, we are in time crunch. Sorry for the late reach out we are stubborn & it took a while to convince…. But my moms right atleast in case anything happens a midwife knows what to do….. all natural at home is our plan & we are sticking to it whether we get a midwife or not. Also I have Medicaid! But it’s there’s a copay I may be able to pay depending how much. Please help us please.
Hospital / Novant health I hope to use my healthy blue Medicaid I plan on having an unmedicated VBAC
