We Intend to give birth at Ascension St Vincent labor hospital in Jacksonville, FL. We live in Yulee, FL. We need a doula who accepts TRICARE select. Our birth plan is undecided, but will most likely be a conventional hospital birth with no epidural and a delayed cord clamping and no delayed vaccine plan. We are looking for an advocate for us at birth and also someone who does birthing classes and advising postpartum.
wanting someone to advocate for me and help me achieve a natural birth with no epidural
Hi! Currently new to Jacksonville and expecting my baby baby this year! Since we are newer to the area and don’t have family near us I would love to have a doula to advocate for me during labor so my husband can be fully present with me!!
I plan to give birth at Flagler hospital in Saint Augustine. I am hoping to pay little to nothing. I hope to have a calm, natural birth, with dim lights, in a natural position for me, and where I can let my body do the work instead of pushing and tearing. I am hoping for a doula that is non judgmental, open minded, and has a calming presence, but can be stern with the hospital employees if needed. I have a Florida blue HMO plan, member id xjgh32700970. Group number l0784.
I am planning to give birth at a hospital in Jacksonville, FL. I am interested in delivering at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville as is highly rated for maternity care. I am looking for a doula or midwife to support me through labor and delivery at a hospital setting. I have Cigna insurance and would prefer a provider who accepts it or offers reasonable out-of-pocket rates. I want compassionate, personalized support throughout my labor, including pain management guidance, advocacy, and emotional support for both me and my partner. I also experienced the passing of a previous baby at two weeks old in October 2024. This is a subsequent pregnancy after loss, so I am looking for a provider who is compassionate, trauma-informed, and experienced in supporting mothers who have gone through infant loss. Emotional support and sensitivity are very important to me throughout this journey.
UF Health River City I do not have a budget I would prefer as natural as possible
Reasonably affordable midwife, ideally for homebirth. Extremely holistic approach, absolute bare minimum. Looking for support with high mobility, low intervention labor. Preferred experience w/cord clamping, golden hour, etc. Primarily seeking midwife who is familiar with warning signs/problem occurrences in the event that labor should be continued or moved to a hospital location. But absolutely would prefer a homebirth. First time mom. Also looking for potential breastfeeding and postpartum support, just to help get my footing. Happy to elaborate on anything here; please get in touch! Looking forward to hearing from you!
