I plan to give birth at Flagler hospital in Saint Augustine. I am hoping to pay little to nothing. I hope to have a calm, natural birth, with dim lights, in a natural position for me, and where I can let my body do the work instead of pushing and tearing. I am hoping for a doula that is non judgmental, open minded, and has a calming presence, but can be stern with the hospital employees if needed. I have a Florida blue HMO plan, member id xjgh32700970. Group number l0784.
Reasonably affordable midwife, ideally for homebirth. Extremely holistic approach, absolute bare minimum. Looking for support with high mobility, low intervention labor. Preferred experience w/cord clamping, golden hour, etc. Primarily seeking midwife who is familiar with warning signs/problem occurrences in the event that labor should be continued or moved to a hospital location. But absolutely would prefer a homebirth. First time mom. Also looking for potential breastfeeding and postpartum support, just to help get my footing. Happy to elaborate on anything here; please get in touch! Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hospital,$1,000 with payment plan. Still unsure of my birthplan
I need a certified doula with 10 or more years of experience who will help and advocate for me during the birth of my baby. I plan to give birth in a hospital or birthing center and will need help with exercising my pelvic floor muscles and preparing for birth. I would like to try giving birth unmedicated to start, with the exception of nitrous gas but get medicated if I ask for it as labor progresses. I would like the doula to recommend any nutrition coaches, prenatal physical therapies and educate me and my husband on newborn care including feeding and bathing our newborn baby. I am not certain of my budget yet, but lower cost would be preferred. My insurance is through Tricare Select.

Giving birth on NAS Jacksonville. Insurance is Tricare Primer
I’m looking for a doula who can help advocate for us during a hospital birth. This is my first birth/pregnancy and I want someone who is educated and understands this world. I know the hospital environment can get hectic and I want someone who can protect my husband and i’s calm during the birthing process. I would also love help with breastfeeding as I haven’t done it before, and potentially postpartum help if I need it (i do think my mom will be helping me, but I’m not sure what to expect). I’m hoping to avoid an epidural, but I’m still looking into different pain management options.
