About me

Greetings! My name is JJ (she/her) and I am a full-spectrum birthworker and the founder of Full Spectrum Birthworkers, a Bay Area practice offering reproductive and perinatal care. I accompany people across the whole arc of reproductive life: preconception, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, loss, and release. My approach is holistic, culturally rooted, and body-led, drawing on body literacy, herbal allies, ceremony, consensual touch, and humor to support you in making decisions based on your own needs, wants, and desires. My foundational training includes Reclaim Our Birth Power Academy's Traditional Full Spectrum Birthworker Program, and I continue my practitioner study with The Holy Well's Institute of Liberation Medicine. Clients describe me as steady, warm, unhurried, and unafraid of what arises.

We believe you deserve care, support, and love at every reproductive transition, not just the ones the medical system recognizes. Our care works through Companionship: one ongoing relationship with our practice, shaped to what you are carrying and held across the time you need to be carried. We offer emotional, physical, informational, and spiritual support through preconception, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, grief and loss, and abortion. Every relationship begins with an inquiry and a consultation, so we can find the right fit together.
