Jay has been an absolute lifesaver for our family. She not only provided exceptional night doula support—handling feeds, diaper changes, and soothing Elliott through the night—but also played a huge role in helping us successfully sleep train him.
Her approach was calm, thoughtful, and incredibly effective. She guided us through the process with confidence, gave us practical tools, and adjusted to Elliott’s needs while also supporting us as parents. Thanks to her, Elliott is sleeping so much better, and we feel more rested and confident.
We truly couldn’t have done this without her and would highly recommend Jay to any family looking for both compassionate overnight care and expert sleep support.

We started working with Jay when our son was 8 weeks old and struggling with very fragmented sleep, only managing 2–3 hour stretches at night. From the very beginning, Jay brought a calm, nurturing presence into our home and made an incredible difference. Within a short time, our son was sleeping 5–6 hour stretches, and we were finally able to rest and recover.
Jay was not only incredibly sweet and gentle with him, but also deeply knowledgeable and thoughtful in her approach. She took the time to teach my husband and me practical, evidence-based strategies to support his sleep—both at night and during naps—and empowered us with tools we still use today. She was wonderfully communicative, flexible with our schedule, and always attuned to our baby’s unique needs and temperament.
One of my favorite memories from that time was the night our son woke up just before Jay arrived for her shift. When she took him in her arms, he glanced over her shoulder at us and gave us the biggest smile as she walked away with him to the nursery—which was so shocking because he always wants us for bedtime. In that moment, we knew he truly loved her and felt completely safe and comforted in her care. It’s such a good feeling as parents to know your baby is in hands they trust and adore.
Her presence brought such peace and reassurance during a vulnerable and exhausting phase of new parenthood. Jay didn’t just help our baby sleep—she helped us feel more confident, supported, and cared for as a family. We’re endlessly grateful for her guidance and would wholeheartedly recommend her to any new parents seeking gentle, knowledgeable, and compassionate support.

I wish I found Jay sooner! Jay helped us with newborn care when my son was 8 weeks to 13 weeks old. I was a very sleep deprived first time mom looking for extra help and a good night’s rest. Jay came highly recommended from a few of my peers. I had an initial meeting with her during the day to get to know each other and meet baby. My baby is alert and was so difficult to put down for day time naps. During our time, she ended with putting down baby for a nap very quickly. I was so impressed. Jay is very sweet, has a calm demeanor, and very knowledgeable. I often asked questions and got advice about newborn sleep and soothing techniques. Most importantly, I felt that my son was safe and in good hands. After each session, she would report back with detailed notes regarding how the night went including feeding times, sleep time, and moments when she soothed baby. I couldn’t recommend Jay enough.

Jay was a god send to our family. In a very vulnerable time for all new parents, Jay came in with ease, grace, patience, and confidence to help us with our newborn. Jay was always very professional, prompt, and kind. We were very hesitant to let someone into our home and trust them with our new baby, however since Jay was always extremely professional, prompt, and especially kind, it was an easy decision for us. With her guidance we also think our daughter was able to establish good sleep routines really early on, even helping us get her to be sleeping through the night!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Jenala as our nanny for two years, caring for our daughter from the time she was 5 months old until she was 2.5 years. Jenala is truly incredible! Warm, attentive, and deeply present in her care. From day one, she engaged our daughter with love, creativity, and patience, and quickly became an important part of our family’s life.
Midway through her time with us, we began a nanny share with close friends, and she cared for two toddlers just five months apart. She managed the dynamic with remarkable calm and grace. Jenala was endlessly patient, never raised her voice, and always ensured the children felt safe, heard, and cared for. She also handled meals, routines, and transitions with ease.
One of the things that set Jenala apart is how present and focused she always was. She never had her phone out and gave the kiddos her full attention. She filled their days with fun and enriching activities, whether it was a trip to the park, an art project, building forts, or splashing in the mini pool. She spoke to the kids constantly, helping build their language skills and sense of connection.
As a parent working from home, I saw firsthand how smoothly Jenala managed each day. She was respectful of our space, communicative, and simply wonderful to have around (she even taught me how to make empanadas!)
We feel incredibly lucky to have had Jenala during such a special and important time in our daughter’s life. She helped our little one grow with confidence, joy, and a whole lot of love. Any family would be lucky to have her!
