Hi, I'm Jennifer! For over 25 years, I've supported families as a Childbirth Educator, Labor and Postpartum Doula, and Certified Infant/Toddler Montessori Teacher. I believe every birth experience and every fourth trimester is unique, and that it truly takes a village. My passion for supporting families with newborns took root while I was working with expectant parents through prenatal, postpartum, and infant massage. Then I became pregnant with my first child. With no extended family nearby, I quickly saw how valuable it is to have an experienced, compassionate person to guide you through this transition without judgment. As a Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula, I find joy in sharing education while nurturing the emotional and physical well-being of the whole family during this special time. My goal is to help every family come together feeling empowered and confident as they begin their journey into parenthood!

Cloud9 Newborn Care offers both daytime and overnight support for families in Greater Boston and Northeast Massachusetts. Overnight care gives parents the chance to rest and recover while I care for baby, handling diaper changes, soothing, and settling. With extensive experience in breastfeeding support, I help nursing parents find their footing, from latch and positioning to building a feeding routine that works for your family. I will bring baby to you for nighttime feedings, help with pumping and bottle preparation, and support whatever feeding plan you choose, whether that is breastfeeding, bottle feeding, or a combination of both. As your baby grows, I offer gentle sleep shaping and conditioning to help lay the foundation for healthy, restful sleep. Using age-appropriate techniques, I help your little one learn to settle and gradually lengthen stretches of sleep, while always respecting your baby's needs and your family's values. Every family is different, so my care is tailored to you. Along the way, I share education on bathing, swaddling, and understanding your baby's cues, so you feel confident long after our time together ends. As a certified Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula, and infant CPR and First Aid certified, I am here to care for the whole family as it takes a villiage!

JennMarie supported our family during a very difficult time. JennMarie was communicative, flexible, and generous – she gifted my older son her board book after meeting him and lent us her favorite swaddle for our newborn during the duration of her tenure with us.
