About me

Jessica is a highly trained, CACHE Certified Newborn Care Specialist and Master NCS® with over 10 years of professional experience working with newborns and infants as a nanny and in-home caregiver. She was born and raised in California and currently living in Fort Worth, Texas. Jessica is a mother of 4 children and her experience ranges from newborn to adolescence, special needs, preemies, and multiples and loves to assist families wherever she is needed. Jessica has always had a passion for children; being the oldest sister to four younger siblings. She is an empath that can conquer the most difficult situations and works well with all personality types. She considers herself to be a team player but also knows when to take sole charge. Jessica is most passionate about supporting new parents with their transition into parenthood by offering encouragement, education, and a non-judgmental listening ear.

Service introduction

• Complete 24/7 care, support, and companionship • Daytime and/or overnight care • Ensures safety of newborn by providing responsive and respectful care • Focus on sleep hygiene and safe sleep • Feeding, including waking mom to breastfeed and or bottled breastmilk and/or formula • Safe preparation and storage of breastmilk and formula • Burping, soothing, diapering, dressing, and bathing • Support parents by teaching proper methods of care based on AAP guidelines and Evidence Based Practices • Provide lactation support and education • Offer helpful feedback and encouragement • Establish a healthy and developmentally appropriate daytime and nighttime sleeping routine • Healthy sleep conditioning and gentle sleep shaping and teaching with appropriate awake windows • Focus on developmental milestones, daily tummy time and playtime • Maintain a thorough Care Log noting feeding and sleeping patterns and other pertinent information and observations • Wash and sterilize bottles and pumping supplies • Light house cleaning, restocking baby items and baby laundry • Overall care and support to infant and parents
