About Jordan

I'm a birth doula, a mom of two young kids, a Licensed Social Worker, and an artist. I work at the edge of birth and becoming—the places where women cross from one version of themselves into another. I hold space for women preparing for birth (especially those carrying fear or grief from a previous experience), mothers navigating the postpartum crossing, and any other significant threshold moment for anyone who needs to be held, not fixed. This work is not about making you brave. It's about witnessing you—exactly as you are—while you move through what's here. My approach is all about empowerment through education, holding space for sacred moments, and for processing those threshold moments after the fact, as well! I love incorporating somatic body awareness and trust in my trauma-informed practice. I’d love to walk alongside you during your threshold moments!

Breathe into Birth Again

90-minute preparation session for women preparing for another birth after trauma or a difficult first experience You're pregnant again, but instead of feeling excited, you're feeling afraid. Maybe your last birth was traumatic, medicalized, or left you feeling powerless. Maybe it was "fine" but didn't feel fine in your body. And now you're facing another birth, and the fear is louder than the hope. This session is for you. Breathe Into Birth Again is designed to help you reconnect with your body, process what you're carrying from the last birth, and reclaim your trust before you cross this threshold again. This is for women who: • Had a previous birth that was traumatic or difficult •Are carrying fear, grief, or anger into this pregnancy •Want to prepare for birth in a way that honors their body's wisdom, not just logistics •Are planning a VBAC and need support processing the first birth •Need more than information — they need to feel safe again What happens: We begin with breathwork to ground you, then create space to talk about your previous birth and what you're still carrying. We work with somatic practices (body-based tools) to help you reconnect with your body, process the fear, resource yourself, and reclaim your story. We close with a practice you can return to throughout pregnancy and into labor. Investment: $150 (sliding scale available) Format: 90 minutes, in person or virtual This session can stand alone or be added to full doula support.

Birth Story Processing Session

90-minute session to process, grieve, and integrate a previous birth experience Your birth story matters — whether it happened last month or years ago. If you're carrying unresolved grief, trauma, confusion, or anger from a birth that didn't go as planned, this session creates space for you to tell your story exactly as it felt, without judgment or pressure to "move on." This is for women who: • Had a traumatic or difficult birth and haven't had space to process it • Are preparing for another birth and need to metabolize the first one • Feel like their story has been minimized or dismissed •Need to be held without being told "at least the baby is healthy" What happens: We begin with grounding breathwork, then you tell your story in whatever order it needs to come. I listen, witness, and reflect back what I hear. We close with somatic integration practices (breathwork, body scanning, resourcing) to help you process the experience through your nervous system, not just your mind. Investment: $150 (sliding scale available) Format: 90 minutes, in person or virtual This is witness work, not therapy. I'm a Licensed Social Worker and doula in training, and I hold this space with trauma-informed care. Whether I attended your birth or not, I can hold this with you.

Jordan was my doula for the birth of my second and third babies, and I just wish she had been there for my first birth, too! My labor with my second child was incredibly intense and painful, and I remember the way the atmosphere changed the moment that Jordan entered the room. She holds herself with an assured confidence and exudes warmth, empathy, and strength under pressure. She is deeply empathetic, is in tune with a mother’s needs during labor, and is not afraid to step in an be a firm advocate when needed. She is THE ONE you want on your birthing team. After having her for the birth of our second baby, my husband said we will never have a baby without her present with us, and I feel the same! From labor prep, birth, and even postpartum support, if you are looking for the kindest soul who is still a force to be reconned with as an advocate, Rooted Passage will absolutely exceed your expectations during the most sacred experience of your life.

have known Jordan for nearly 20 years, and for as long as I've known her, she has possessed a natural, innate gift for taking care of others. Her warmth, intuitive compassion, and caretaking spirit are simply in her DNA. When she made the decision to begin her doula practice, it felt like the most natural extension of who she has always been. As a mother of two who had two C-sections, my birth experience looked a bit different, but Jordan's support before and after my births was invaluable. A doula's role goes so far beyond the delivery room, and Jordan embodies every single quality you could hope for during the perinatal journey. Before birth, she is a listening ear, an encouraging guide, and a calm, grounding force. The transition into motherhood, especially the physical and emotional recovery following a C-section, requires so much gentle care, and Jordan was there with steady, non-judgmental support every step of the way. She listens deeply, anticipates needs, and brings a reassuring, peaceful presence to the early postpartum days. Having navigated motherhood alongside her, I can say with complete confidence that any family would be so lucky to have Jordan in their corner. She is a true gift to expectant mothers!
