About me

I am a doula and certified breastfeeding specialist with NICU experience as a nurse. I provide daytime postpartum doula support and am now also offering birth support. I strongly believe that new parents and their children do not receive enough support. The saying "it takes a village" exists for a reason. I know that most of us don't have a village, but I would be happy to be a part of yours.

Kayla was an absolute lifesaver during those early weeks postpartum. From the moment she came into our home, she went above and beyond to care for not only my newborn, but for me, my toddlers, and our entire household. She regularly checked in on me emotionally and made sure I was truly taking care of myself—reminding me to drink water, eat nourishing snacks, rest when I could, and giving me the support and reassurance I needed during such a vulnerable and overwhelming season. Her lactation support was also incredibly helpful and gave me confidence and guidance when I needed it most. What made Kayla so exceptional was that she understood that postpartum care is about the whole family. She helped with my newborn, entertained and cared for my toddlers, helped keep the house running smoothly, and even made sure our fridge was stocked with nourishing meals so I could focus on healing, bonding with my baby, and getting through those long days. She brought such a calming, comforting presence into our home. She anticipated needs before I even had to ask, offered encouragement without judgment, and made me feel genuinely cared for. Having someone there who could say, “Have you eaten? Have you had water? How are you feeling?” while also helping with the kids and household was invaluable. Kayla is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, dependable, and intuitive. She didn’t just support my baby—she supported me as a mother. And that made all the difference. I truly cannot recommend Kayla enough to any new or growing family. If you are considering postpartum doula or lactation support, hire her. You will be so grateful you did. 🤍
