Had our baby girl in Utah July 22 early and now she’s 7 weeks old and my wife has been alone here in Kenner while I work and travel on the weekends for work and we don’t have any help with family here. I am looking for a doula in Baton Rouge Louisiana that can assist with and advocate for me in case needed for a birth on June 6th 2027, it will be performed at Ochsner on O’Neil lane. We have a budget of around $3,000. I am a first time mom so we want to ensure everything goes as we plan if the birth allows as well as having someone experienced who can assist with postpartum care and newborn care afterwards. Our birth plan mainly consists of a water birth and hopefully using nitrous oxide intermittent to assist with pain. We intend to go this route due to current spinal problems so we wish to avoid an epidural as much as possible.
