Hi! I am Kiara - a certified full spectrum doula and lactation professional. I have experience ranging from singletons, twins, premature babies and more. I specialize in postpartum and lactation, with an emphasis on low milk supply assistance. I also have a birth doula background in which while I am not currently doing births, I can assist with birth planning. Kiara was a lifesaver during postpartum. She asked great questions to get to know our needs, supported our decisions, and most importantly made us feel comfortable out of the gate. Kiara helped my family during the first 8 weeks with our second child and she was wonderful. Her presence each night was a comfort to the whole family. She had a knack for understanding and soothing my baby, quickly attending to his cries so he didn’t wake the toddler, and supporting us parents along the way. I was especially appreciative of Kiara’s experience and expertise with lactation consulting — she had some great advice when my baby was struggling with gas, and she clearly understood hunger cues vs when my baby just needed extra soothing at night. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to welcome Kiara into our home, and I’m confident other families will feel the same. Highly recommend!

Kiara was the perfect fit as an overnight postpartum doula for our family. We worked with her for 10 weeks and felt extremely grateful to have her caring for our newborn twins. She was always flexible with our schedule and on time for nights with us. She offered to do extra tasks overnight such as baby laundry and always made sure the bottles were washed and ready to go for us by morning. She was extremely caring and our twins really took a liking to her. She was communicative throughout and proactively checked in on preferences when extra attention was needed (during colds), formula changes and tracking feedings. To be able to get extra sleep on the nights she was there and feel at ease knowing that our babies were safe and cared for was everything. Would highly recommend Kiara for caring for your newborn during early postpartum.

Kiara was our overnight newborn specialist for 16 nights for our 2 month old. We had asked her to take extra health precautions with our baby and she was willing to put our worries at ease. She was a great help for our family in allowing us to get longer stretches of sleep - she was super quiet and effectively did diaper changes and soothed our baby back to sleep without waking us up. She also washed bottles, pump parts, and baby laundry so that we had a few less things to worry about. She was prompt, professional, and cleanly.
