Hi, my name is Abigail and I am a military spouse stationed at Fort Drum. I plan to give birth at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, NY. My estimated budget is $0 out-of-pocket, as I am looking exclusively for a doula who is already fully credentialed with my insurance and handles direct billing. My insurance provider is TRICARE East Prime, and I am utilizing the active Childbirth and Breastfeeding Support Demonstration benefit. I am looking for a birth doula to provide continuous physical and emotional support during my labor and delivery, and I want to find a provider I truly connect with.
1. Samaritan Hospital 2. I’m unsure what it would cost but I’d say between $3,000-$5,000. 3. VBAC, Natural labor progression, pain meds & epidural. No foley ballon, or Pitocin, C section only if medically necessary.
