We had ad-hoc support with our first baby and knew we wanted more consistent overnight care for our second (especially considering the energy we'd need for our toddler!). We really liked working with Well supported family (formerly Nightingale nurses, when we worked with them). The process is super well organized and our contact Karina was always very responsive and flexible based on our needs. Heather, our night nurse in Boston, was simply amazing! You can tell she looooves babies and empathizes greatly with all the changes they have to go through as they adjust to the outside world. Heather was very helpful, took great care of my baby girl, and was knowledgeable yet flexible depending on what we need (to be waken up to nurse, to bottle feed etc). This is the kind of person we were looking for, and I got the impression that WSF has all kinds of night nurse personalities depending on what you need (eg more or less prescriptive, etc). We keep referring our friends to this service and would definitely recommend it. Start early so you have more options choose from!

Rachel was so amazing. She came into our lives very swiftly as we reached out to you guys after our baby was born she was able to start nearly immediately after we got home in the hospital and it was a huge lifesaver. Rachel was so thoughtful, caring and took such good care of our baby each night she came to visit us, we loved working with her. We even extended her contract because she was giving us so much needed sleep. She would offer helpful tips and would text me before every shift to check in and see how I as a mom was doing and how our baby was doing. She was on time or early for every single shift and was so communicative and organized. I highly recommend Rachel as a night nurse, and would love to work with her again. Outside of the amazing care from Rachel, one stand out is how swiftly and quickly Nightingale Nurses was able to find me a night nurse, and get amazing care on a consistent basis for us right after our baby was born. I cannot thank you enough! I did not have a lot of parental support coming out of this birth, and your services saved my and my partners mental health because we were able to get sleep!

I used Nightingale Night Nurses with my first baby, and my husband and I always say that it was the best money we ever spent. We were paired with Jhenelle who is not only an incredible night nurse but also a fantastic person. By the end of our 8-weeks with her, our baby is sleeping through the night for 10 hours (with just one short feeding) and can fall asleep independently. (Anyone who has had a newborn knows that this is nothing short of a miracle!) Jhenelle taught us so much, even beyond sleep, and I truly don't know what we would have done without her, especially as new parents. I cannot say enough fantastic things about Nightingale Night Nurses. We just had twins in January, and they are a handful as you would expect. After much deliberation we decided to get a night nurse 1-2 nights a week, despite some initial reticence surrounding a stranger coming into our house overnight. Are babies are extremely colicky, and we needed a night to recharge after really tough evenings. Working with Kim we found exactly what we needed - someone we could rely on. After the first 10 minutes I already trusted her, based on the questions she asked, her genuine interest in our children, and her responsiveness throughout the day. If you need help at night - don't delay/waffle on the decision - I can assure you NNN is the right course of action!

We had a great experience with Nightingale for overnight care. We used them for two nights per week for the first six weeks The contracting/payment process was smooth and straightforward. Nightingale was super responsive and worked with me to use an employer benefit for reimbursement (and had experience working with this benefit, which I was appreciative of). Our nurse, Jen, was communicative, always on time and so experienced. We felt reassured by her calm demeanor and felt little nervousness handing off our newborn son after we got home from the hospital. I had a postpartum doula for 6 weeks after my second baby and it was the best decision I made! She was a godsend and so, so sweet. I worried that the experience would be awkward because it's such an intimate, raw time to invite someone into your life, and I tend to be pretty private, but it was not at all! Sophie was an angel and so knowledgeable, friendly and natural. She was amazing with both my newborn and my toddler and just so patient, warm and helpful. If you're going to register for one thing for your new baby it should be to get a night nurse from The Nightingales. Incredibly flexible with schedule and needs, truly so grateful for the care provided to our first earthside child. Highly trained, our night nurse came quickly when the sleep deprivation was so intense we weren't sure what to do. Our night nurse not only helped to provide us some much needed sleep, but also helped to teach us helpful sleep skills and support our son with age appropriate self soothing and feeding habits. I could not recommend them enough. Worth literally every penny.
