About Krystal

Hi, I’m Krystal! Before anything else, I’m a mother of four, and motherhood has been one of the most beautiful, challenging, and defining parts of my life. I became a mother for the first time at just 19, then again at 22, 25, and most recently at 38. I’ve experienced motherhood through so many different seasons of life, and each one has taught me something new about love, patience, strength, and just how much a mother needs to be cared for, too. My passion for postpartum support comes from a very personal place. I know what it feels like to be completely in love with your baby while also feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, and in need of someone to simply show up for you. I know what it’s like to keep going because everyone depends on you, even when you could use someone to lean on yourself. Those experiences stayed with me and ultimately inspired me to become a certified postpartum doula. I wanted to become the person I wish I’d had beside me during some of my own postpartum journeys. I don’t believe mothers should have to do everything, know everything, or pretend they have it all together. I believe in listening without judgment, respecting each family’s choices, and recognizing that sometimes the smallest gestures of support can mean the most. Whether that means holding your baby so you can shower, helping around the house, offering reassurance during a difficult moment, or simply sitting beside you and listening, I want you to feel genuinely cared for. My goal isn’t to tell you how to be a mother. It’s to remind you that you deserve care, compassion, and support while you find your own way. Because while everyone is excited to welcome a new baby, I believe we should be just as intentional about caring for the mother who brought that baby into the world.

Postpartum Doula services

At The Nest That Holds, I provide compassionate, personalized postpartum doula and family support services designed to help mothers feel cared for, understood, and supported as they navigate life after welcoming a baby. My services include newborn care assistance, emotional support, feeding encouragement, overnight support, light household assistance, and helping families establish comfortable routines. My goal is to ease the everyday demands of postpartum recovery so mothers have the opportunity to rest, heal, bond with their babies, and feel confident in their new chapter. As a mother of four who experienced motherhood at 19, 22, 25, and 38, I understand firsthand that every postpartum journey is different and that mothers need support regardless of their age or experience. I believe caring for a baby also means caring for the mother. My approach is nurturing, judgment-free, and centered on each family’s individual needs. Whether it’s offering a listening ear, helping during an overwhelming night, or simply being an extra set of hands, I strive to create a safe and comforting environment where no mother feels she has to do it all alone.
