Aisha Smith
Founder | Memorable Postpartum
Hi, my name is Aisha Smith. I’m a mother of two, with a 19-year-old son and an 8-year-old daughter. My personal postpartum journey, particularly after the birth of my daughter, deeply influenced my decision to enter this field, and I haven’t looked back since.
Having experienced the physical, emotional, and mental challenges that can accompany postpartum recovery, I understand firsthand how transformative and, at times, overwhelming this season of motherhood can be. My personal experience, combined with my passion for supporting women, inspired me to create a career dedicated to helping mothers feel supported, nurtured, and empowered throughout their postpartum journeys.
I received my postpartum doula certification and training through CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association). I am also a Certified Lactation Counselor through Lactation Educators.
Through Memorable Postpartum, I provide compassionate, knowledgeable, and personalized support to mothers navigating the transition into motherhood and the complexities of postpartum recovery. My goal is to create a space where women feel understood, confident, and equipped with the tools and resources they need to thrive both as mothers and as individuals.
My services extend beyond traditional postpartum support. I offer comprehensive maternal and newborn care, including infant care, breastfeeding assistance, newborn education, and confidence building for new parents. I also provide nutrient-dense, thoughtfully prepared postpartum meals, nourishing teas and snacks, and practical household assistance to help mothers prioritize rest, recovery, and bonding with their babies.
In addition, my services include postpartum massage and traditional postpartum belly binding, bringing restorative care and relaxation directly into the comfort of your home.
My vision for Memorable Postpartum is to be a trusted, one-stop resource for mothers during one of life’s most significant transitions. From education and hands-on newborn care to nourishment, restorative services, and ongoing support, I strive to make every mother’s postpartum experience more comfortable, peaceful, and memorable.
When I’m not working or spending time with my children, I enjoy a day outside. I’m a self-proclaimed foodie — good food makes me so happy! I love a good girls’ night and, honestly, I’m a great time. I believe that anything can be turned into a good time, and I live to get the most out of life.
That same philosophy carries into my work. Just because you have a newborn doesn’t mean you can’t feel good, enjoy life, and make time for yourself. Every mother’s journey is different, and my goal is to help make that journey a little easier, more supported, and much more memorable.
If you’re looking for knowledgeable postpartum support, nourishment, or simply someone you can trust during this special time, I’d love to connect with you.
You can reach me at 215-990-8897 or via email at memorablepostpartum@gmail.com.
I look forward to getting to know you and becoming part of your postpartum journey.
Memorable Postpartum
Because the mother deserves care, too.
Postpartum is such a precious time, and with the right support, healing, education, and confidence, it can be the most memorable experience. That is my goal. I'm here to support everything from newborn care and training, to postpartum massage and bodywork, to belly binding, to preparing nutrient dense meals, teas, and snacks, to laundry and light house keeping, to bottle making and cleaning, to providing peace of mind as I support you and your family. Postpartum support is a necessity, not a luxury, and it is truly my passion work.

Aisha has been helping us with overnight care for our 5-month old son since he was just a few weeks old. She is warm, dependable, and hilarious- which is so appreciated in the newborn trenches. Not only does she give the invaluable gift of sleep, but she brings a wealth of knowledge which has helped us through various transitions. She communicates proactively, so I always know exactly how my son did overnight/what we’re bringing into the day. 10/10 recommend. I don’t know what we would have done without her!
