About Tara

I'm a DONA Certified Postpartum Doula and the owner of Sweet Beginnings Postpartum Care. I'm also a proud mom of four boys! Being a mom myself has given me such a special appreciation for those early days of welcoming a new baby into the family. I truly love what I do and feel so fortunate to be welcomed into families' homes during such a special time in their lives. Whether it's caring for your little one while you catch up on sleep, helping with feedings, folding a load of baby laundry, or simply being there to offer a little reassurance, I'm happy to help wherever I'm needed. I offer both daytime and overnight postpartum support, always keeping in mind that every family has their own routines, preferences, and way of doing things. I believe postpartum care should feel comfortable, personal, and never judgmental. My hope is that families feel like they have an extra set of caring hands in their home and someone they can truly count on.

Working with Tara was such a special experience, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better doula. She was there for me during the days and nights, and having someone so dedicated, supportive, and willing to show up for me made such a difference. She always made me feel comfortable, heard, and supported throughout my journey. What I appreciated most about Tara was that I never felt like I was going through everything alone. She took the time to be there for me, checked in on me, and brought me comfort and reassurance when I needed it most. You can tell she genuinely cares about the moms and families she works with, and that means so much, especially during such an important and emotional time. I would absolutely recommend Tara to any expecting mom looking for a doula. Whether it’s your first baby or you already have little ones at home, having someone like her in your corner makes such a difference. Every mom deserves to feel supported, cared for, and never alone during their journey.

Frequently asked questions

When should I book postpartum doula care?

You're welcome to reach out anytime during pregnancy or even after your baby arrives! Many families choose to book before their due date to have support in place, but I'm always happy to check availability for families who need care sooner.
