About Kyanna

My journey to becoming a postpartum doula began in 2022, when I became a mother myself. During my pregnancy, I dove deep into everything I could learn about birth and parenting, and I quickly fell in love with the beauty and power of the whole process. But when my daughter was born, I realized there was a gap in the education and support available for new mothers, especially when it comes to the postpartum experience. I found that many mothers, myself included, were left to navigate this crucial time without the guidance and support they truly needed. It was in this moment of realization that I knew I wanted to support other women in their postpartum journeys, helping them feel informed, nurtured, and cared for as they adjusted to life with a new baby. In late 2024, I found a postpartum doula training led by an incredible midwife, and I knew this was the path I was meant to take. As a follower of Jesus, my faith is central to everything I do, and I strive to serve others with love and compassion. When I’m not supporting families, you can find me baking, spending time with my own family, and dreaming of a homesteading life. I’m excited to be part of your postpartum journey and offer the care and support you need during this transformative and sacred time.

Postpartum Doula services

I truly believe that how you are cared for and take care of yourself the first 40 days postpartum will have an impact on your future self. My goal is to help every mom be taken care of physically, emotionally, and mentally. Postpartum is hard enough and it should have to be taken on alone. The services I provide are: breastfeeding support, light house keeping, meal/ snack preparation, older sibling support, helping with baby (babies) so you can rest, shower, eat, etc., preparation of herbal sitz baths and foot baths, womb massage, traditional postpartum rituals (if wanted), and more!

What areas do you serve?

I currently serve Weber and Davis counties. If you are on the outside of those counties, send me a message and we can see if there is something we can work out.

Do you offer payment plans?

If finances are an issues please message me, I know what It's like to want support and help but finances hold you back. We can discuss possibilities of payments plans or possible trade work so that you can have the support you need.

How does a typical visit go?

This changes based on the mother, baby and family needs. However, I will begin the visit by checking in with mom and ask her a series of 7 questions to gain a better understanding of how she is and what she is needing from me for that visit. I will then proceed with helping meet the needs of the mother and family as I am there to provide relief and support.

When is payment due?

After the free consultation if you decide to move forward with services I require a $200 retainer to hold your spot. This is non refundable and will be applied to your last 2 visits.
