Hi! I’m a 21-year-old married mom of a 2-year-old, currently pregnant with my second baby and going through a separation from my husband. I’m a Christian, and I’m really looking for a doula who can support me physically, emotionally, and spiritually throughout this pregnancy and birth. I’m hoping to have an unmedicated, natural birth and would love to learn breathing techniques, labor positions, and different coping strategies to help me prepare. I’m honestly scared, and one of my biggest goals is to have a positive birth experience and to avoid tearing entirely if possible. I want to learn everything I can to prepare my body and reduce my risk of tearing. I also want to learn more about nutrition during pregnancy, including organic foods and understanding healthy versus less-healthy carbohydrates. I plan to breastfeed again and would love support with preparing for that as well. I also have questions about healthy weight management during pregnancy and postpartum and would love guidance on how to safely care for my body while making sure my baby is properly nourished. My husband and I are separated, but I would like him to be able to learn how to support me during pregnancy and birth if he is willing. I would appreciate a doula who can help educate both of us on what genuine, respectful support can look like during labor and delivery. As a Black mother and woman, I’m also very aware of the disparities and racism Black women can face within the healthcare system. Having someone who can advocate for me, help me understand my options, and make sure my voice is heard and respected during such a vulnerable experience is extremely important to me. I really want to feel safe, informed, empowered, and supported throughout this journey.

This will be my first birth. I don't like the idea of giving birth in a hospital. I'd like a home water birth. I'm not sure about budget or at what it starts. I want to prep my body so birth is not a horrible experience. I'd prefer someone with many years of experience, at least 5. And speaks English and Spanish. I'm 28 years old and I'd like to have a postpartum plan to include healthy eating habits and exercise.

My goal for this birth is to have a calm, natural, and empowering experience with as few medical interventions as possible. My first preference is a planned home birth, with a birth center as my second choice if home birth is not appropriate. I would like to have an unmedicated labor and birth, with the freedom to move around, change positions, use comfort measures, and listen to my body throughout labor. I would like my doula/midwife to provide continuous emotional and physical support, encouragement, and guidance while helping me feel informed and involved in decisions throughout the process. I want to create a peaceful environment where I can feel safe, supported, and confident in my ability to birth my baby. I understand that plans may need to change if a medical concern arises, and I am open to transferring to a hospital if it becomes necessary for my or my baby’s safety. My priority is a healthy baby and a healthy mother while preserving as much of the natural, low-intervention birth experience as safely possible.

I just need someone who I feel can educate me on what I don’t know and someone who is interested in helping me advocate for myself. I keep feeling like the medical industry isn’t interested in helping me and I just want someone who cares about helping and wants to be there

Who the care is for: Our family. I will have a newborn daughter (due date around December 2026, possibly November if she arrives early) and I have an 8 year old son. I will be recovering postpartum and want to stay focused on bonding with the baby without getting pulled into household tasks. Days and hours needed: Daily, evening hours (roughly dinner time through bedtime), for about 2 to 4 weeks, starting after the baby arrives. Flexible on exact timing, happy to adjust as our routine settles. Extra duties: - Warming up dinner - Prepping my son's lunch for the next school day - Checking that his homework is done - Light cleaning: vacuuming kitchen/dining area, tidying common rooms - Taking out trash and recycling - Running a load of laundry as needed - Occasionally watching the baby while I shower - Help restocking postpartum/baby supplies, freezing pumped milk and washing pump parts, and grabbing nursing snacks/drinks I keep on hand My husband will be home during these hours too. We just want an extra set of hands so neither of us is stuck doing chores instead of resting or spending time with the kids. Budget: $35 to $40/hour, depending on experience.

I plan to deliver in a hospital. We are students so we are on a tight budget but willing to look into offers. This will be a VBAC. My plan is spontaneous labor sometime before 41w5d (provider said this was best). And I plan to labor at home as long as possible, transferring to the hospital just before active labor. I would love some birthing support! Hoag Irvine birth center or Providence Mission Viejo is where I will give birth. This is my second baby, and the first time I got the epidural but it didn’t work. I would love to learn new positions and other pain relief during birth and not use the epidural. My husband is deployed now, and might not be there for the birth.

at kaiser Permanente Riveride, i am planning on using my medical or my kaiser insurance i would like to have a smooth birth i do plan on getting the epidural but i have scoliosis and does not go well when the procedure is getting done, i would like to get help on information if i do not understand or if im out of it from medication

My plan is to give birth either at the temecula valley hospital or on base hospital on camp pendleton, my estimated budget is around $6,000-$7,000 for 2-3 months of care. My birth plan is still something i’m working out since i am a first time mom. and im early in my 1st trimester. age to me does not matter as long as they are fully certified in the field, know CPR, and have at least 5-6 years of experience. My baby will be around 2weeks old when i start care so my main concern is that during the night time baby baby is woken up and feed as needed, only cleaning wise that would maybe have to be done is just dishes and washing laundry (not folding just washing and drying)

Planning an unmedicated hospital birth at Hoag Hospital Irvine for my first pregnancy. Already have my birth plan figured out and mainly looking for support and advocacy during labor for me and my partner and to learn any helpful information for first time motherhood.
